Winning the X-Factor title isn't just about singing. I certainly believe that the title X-Factor doesn't end on the fact that one act can actually sing but the overall appeal of that particular talent which means personality, versatility and at the same time the charism he/she/they have...
This year's batch of contenders showed us a very different bunch of characters... but who among them deserves the title at the end of the series....
I can see three acts that possess the character, the charisma, the personality and most of all the talent...
Joe, Stacey and Olly
very likeable characters... unique personalities.... each performance is a reflection of who they are and not of who they want to be.... always effortless.... competition for them isnt a big thing, the experience matters the most.....
Jamie, Lucie
they try very very very hard every week.... instead of giving out a brilliant performace, they prefer to impress rather than to entertain.... their voices arent versatile and at some point irritating as well.... very good performers though but their personalities usually clash with the way they sing on stage...
John & Edward
very entertaining.... either love them or hate them..... they are having fun... its good to see them every week but then at some point we have to consider the fact that this is a talent show and they are actually struggling on that part... if it was britain's got talent, they might have a shot in winning the title but x-factor, i do have some questions.....
Lloyd
clearly face value over talent.... very timid and reserved.... he knows he is good-looking and he relies on that so much.... he has reached his ceiling point but cheryl is pushing him so hard and it just wont work.... the next person to go...
Danyl
i was never impressed of danyl... yes he got one of the best voices in the competition but i can't imagine him representing uk in a global scale and at the same time following the likes of leona, shayne and alexandra.... he knows so so so so so much that he is good and even if he denies it, his facial expression, his constant murdering of songs, his mannerisms reflect this cockiness in him... if he happen to have either stacey's bubbly and humbling charcater or olly's likability, he could be swimming till the end...
