I use a Topfiled TF5800 PVR (250GB) which I brought at the beginning of the year from curry's.

I am really pleased with it but I have on very small problem with it.

Some time when I go to a channel that I want to watch I get the channel come up for a few seconds then the screen will go black with no picture of sound.

I then have to tune in to the next or previous channel and then back to the channel that I want to watch to get the Picture and sound again and then everything work perfectly.

Then some time when the same problem as above happens I get a different channel appear instead of the one that I have gone to watch so I have to do the same fix as above and then everything works again as it should until the next time this problem happens.

A lot of the time the pvr works excellently but this small problem is a bit annoying.

I Live in Tiptree Essex and get my signal from the Tacolnesten transmitter.

Has any one else had this problem with there Topfiled TF5800PVR?

It's probably worth changing your firmware to the toppy.org.uk recommended version (patched 5.13.65). Check that site for the details. Also check you don't have duplicate channels (press OK to look at the stored channels and delete duplicates).
