I think it's that grin he gives after it ... like wtf was that all about!
The sad thing is he must have spent so long practising that trying to make it sound cool, and when it came out it was just naff.

I miss the posts about the Youtube videos subtitling Diana's 'performances' - them gave me the biggest laughs I had all year. Esp 'There Be Bunny Herbs' (everybody hurts) which up to that point had been one of my fave songs but now I can't listen to it without crying with laughter.
this is the funniest i saw lmaoooooooo

A special mention has to go to eggnog and his 'voting face'

Harry hill got loads of material from it last year

Oh I remember that - at one point the "voting face" disappeared briefly after Harry had a go at it, but then it returned. I don't think Eggnog could help himself.

Louis' "Yes we can!" comment to JLS.
I vaguely remember the audience erupting into giggles at the dramatic Deadlock noise, but I'm not sure if it was last year or not.

Dianas `sore throat` which conveniently meant she couldn`t sing Mariah

The weird thing is, I can't put my finger on why the "Merry Christmas" thing was so funny. I have no idea why JB saying that in the middle of the song was so comical, it just is.

Maybe it was a similar effect to Stacey's sudden Dagenham-ese rapping during Walk this Way on the last results show.
It is the look of absolute pride on his face as he delivers his cheesy line

Yet, she managed, with extreme ease, to sing Mariah Carey on the X-Factor tour.

Some of you really need to get over the 'Laryngitis' issue, it's become tedious and boring.

Diana proved, and even more so now, given her role in "Little Voice', that she can sing anything.

There was an uproar last year when Diana was too ill to perform on the show but there was a clip of them all having fun at a bonfire/fireworks display a few days before the show and Diana was clearly heard screaming in delight.
The forum went into meltdown when FM's asking how she was too ill to perform but well enough to be screaming at a bonfire display.

I agree with the OP I really miss last years show
I don't miss the show; I am quite liking this low key show this year.

I mean look at what we have J&E

Now what more could you want.

OK let's say.... last year's show, but with Jedward instead of Girlband or something.

X Factor perfection, yes?

Maybe now but on the x factor she BRUTALLY murdered every song she was given....

I remember last year someone made a HILARIOUS thread wondering what it would be like if she trod on a drawing pin mid-song....oh how we laughed.

Haha God she was awful worst singer imo the comp has ever had Jedward are so much better.

If she didn't run around with her shoes off and play up that whole "im so original" thing she would have been easily voted off.

People liked her cause they thought she was "different" whereas in fact she was just a copy of so many others.

As you can see im no diana fan.. but i miss having someone to take the piss out of

Also can i just say when eggnog ran on to the stage and huggged Diana....that was maybe my favorite T.V moment of 2008!!

he acted like she was about to be taken out and shot.

In my english class the next day we were all talking about it, so my teacher decided to watch the x factor on youtube instead of work

I have diana and eggnog to thank for that

Yeah Jedward just seem too much like easy targets, don't they? They're taking the piss out themselves, not enough for us to mock

I had a crack at a Danyl-pisstake thread a while back, but oh my god, the venom it unleashed...

No-one is quite as ripe for piss-taking as the 'quirky lass from Blackburn', let's be honest...

hahaha. i agree with every word

i remember the week of laryngitis-gate last year. there was a "post your own diana conspiracy" thread. and the forum broke for about an hour, which i'm not entirely sure was related to that, but i'm gonna say it was

I know its so stupid you say one thing about her..and its like your just insulted thier family member or something.

It makes me kinda mad because J + E and Lloyd are both better singers than she was on the show...yet they get slated.

If they were running around with thier shoes off and sitting on swings acting like strange indie fairies ...everyone would be "oh how original" bla bla bla

Oh I LOVED that week. So much outrage on this forum, pure comedy.

These days the outrage isn't as funny, it just gets a bit spiteful. Like last year, people took the piss out of Diana's weird yodelling and it was f***ing hilarious. This year, people get called 'bullies' and the papers publish stories about contestants being virgins. It's lost the fun somewhat
