Is it true that Bruce Forysth is going to be the next to leave Strictly? Do you think it will happen?

I love his comment about Craig Revel Horwood being like an uncle you don't want to be left alone with!!

Ha ha, good one. When did it happen I must have fastforwarded through it. I also liked when he said "You are one of those?" when Craig said that watching the dance was like looking through a keyhole

So Julian Clary goes on television and says there is a rumour that Bruce is getting the push.

He has no evidence yet it's taken seriously.

I heard a rumour: that Julian Clary has been signed up to write for the Daily Mail. He has all the journalistic qualifications, after all ...

Good post, except that he said that there was a rumour that Brucie might get the push (which makes the rest of your post even more spot-on)

Oh, it's about Clary, I did not read the original article and assumed he = Brucie

Trash journalism. Someone has a thought. Publish it as news.

Brucie will be there...even if he has to be in an iron lung strapped to Tess's back to get him down the stairs!

Rumour in the pro-dance world is that there is only going to be one more series of scd - personally I'm not sure I go along with the rumour, but who knows? If it is true, I would imagine Bruce will still be there next year.

This wouldn't surprise me, the BBC has been "fiddling with it" for the last few years trying to maintain the ratings and it's now getting the pants beaten off it by X-Factor. That show will "step up a gear" next year, it always does.
With the BBC it's all about ratings, not quality or alternative choice TV. So poorer ratings next year, could trigger a change.

If they've thought of a rival show to compete with X-Factor and are confident that it'll get better ratings than SCD, that programme will go.

If he stays for another GENERATION they better start fitting a stair lift

I don't think you got the joke!

He said there was a rumour that Bruce Forsyth was to be replaced by someone younger...Patrick Moore!

And people want JC to be the next presenter of SCD! If that's what we would get by way of a link into a dance routine I think Bruce would be sadly missed...
