I was relieved when Sharon left the show. She couldn't take criticism of her acts by the other judges very well, which really highlighted her aggressiveness.

I know they all defend their acts, but they don't get aggressive about it. Apart from Cheryl on occasion.
I see some of Sharon's traits in Cheryl, and I really don't like it.

Not sure she did gremlin..... Steve was never in the bottom 2 won every round but 1 throughout the series , she probably did earn him a lot of votes but not sure of winning it for him . His Votes can never be beaten 6 mill. He was really popular on the 1 st series.

From watching those videos I noticed (with great satisfaction I must confess) that Osbourne's looks have gone decidedly downhill in the years between the Steve Brookestein incident and the Susan Boyle one.

Didn't watch XF in series one but that was horrible. How did she last three series after that?! She didn't even look that drunk there, so you can't even use that as an excuse. She had a vendetta against Rhydian too that she never really let go of.
At least Dannii showed more class than to lower herself to a slanging match with this character when she was shown what Sharon had said on the Life Stories show.

Yes, that is the first time I have seen that, and I agree, at least with reference to the first show, when his "likeability" factor was called into question which started the whole bandwagon which is now spinning way out of control!

However, since that week, Dannii and Louis have been a lot fairer in their comments to Danyl - lets be honest, he hasnt always deserved the OVER praise that Simon always seems to give him even when he sings off key, but D & L have at least been reasoned and geared towards the performance.

Ms Cole, however, really dislikes him, and doesnt seem to have the ability to be professional enough to hide it. I have always been a quiet fan of Cheryl's but now I can see that Dannii is much more professional and fair than Cheryl has ever been with anyone. Louis, of course, is just Louis!

Back to Sharon - that was despicable, and much as I don't rate Steve, he did not deserve that! I didnt watch much first year, so missed it all. It was a bit out of order for her to assasinate his character in front of all those people, when she was supposed to be judging his singing.

Susan Boyle has a BEAUTIFUL voice, & there is nothing wrong with her appearance. Ok, so she wasn't into makeup, hairdye & tweezers before BGT, but what a difference those little changes have made - she looks fantastic these days WITHOUT having to resort to surgery. And what's more important is that Susan is BEAUTIFUL ON THE INSIDE which is more than can be said about Ms Osbourne.

Attacking somebody who is extremely popular is a very bad idea - you have done yourself no favours Sharon.

Dannii remained dignified throughout her ordeal at the hands of Sharon, even when she had the chance to let rip on Piers Morgan's show, she didn't bother because she has a good life & appreciates it.

Sharon Osbourne, you have a husband (wouldn't be my cup of tea, but obviously you like him ), 3 children, good looks (with a little help from your plastic surgeon), more money than you need & you have beaten cancer. Why can't you just be satisfied with that? You are coming over as a bitter old hag who will never be happy no matter how many good things you have in your life. Sharon Osbourne has never had an abundance of tact, she tends to say whatever springs to mind and if she has an opinion, she can't just have it, she has to broadcast it.

She is just one of those people who is incapable of thinking something without speaking it at the same time, it's a pretty significant character flaw, especially when half of what she thinks is hypocritical.

I LOVE the rant she had at Steve that time for one brilliant reason, to everything she says, think and turn it back on her, like a mirror, it's a fun game and demonstrates her own insecurities and shortcomings.
