I'd also say Louisa, Denise, two Zoes, one or both of Jade and Ali, Emma and Kelly were MASSIVELY better than Lisa.

Rachel, even with the personality of a doornail, was miles ahead of Lisa IMO.

Rachel by a long long way. I wasnt supporting either last year but Rachel had some really memorable dances (Rumba, Foxtrot, argentine tango...) that left a lasting impression. I struggle to recall anything Lisa did (I remember that showdance but Im guessing not for the reasons she would want to be remembered ), I dont even remember her foxtrot which she apprently got 40/40 for. Being forgetable is not the sign of a brilliant dancer.

Plus Vincent really pushed Rachel, and tested her skills to the limit. That AT was very complicatd and she rose to the challenge.

And Zoe Ball was also miles ahead of Lisa (and Denise Lewis and I dare say Kelly Brooke)

To be fair to Len, he did qualify his opinion with 'possibly'....which could be interpreted, and I interpreted, as meaning she's simply a contender for best girl not to have won.

In the annual when he was asked who was the most consistent dancer he said Lisa, even though every one of her Latin dances were terrible. Apart from the Cha Cha Cha and Argentine Tango which were goodish.

I'd say Denise is the best dancer not to have won. I'd put Zoe, Louisa, Rachel and Kelly ahead of Lisa and I'm also confident that one or two of this year's crop are ahead in ability, though it's tough to compare until they've done all the dances. I really can't understand Len saying that.

If that's an accurate report of what he said then I disagree with him...but that's a different claim altogether.

Also I think your use of the word 'terrible' in this context is a considerable exaggeration...even though I was generally unimpressed with her Latin too and felt she was one of the most overmarked celebs ever on the show.

Surprisingly, I don't actually dislike Lisa, I really enjoyed some of her dances. Her only good Latin dance was the Cha Cha Cha. I still can't believe her jive got a 9 and Brendan complained. I like Lisa alot, I just like Rachel more.
