i prefered lisa tbh. but technically i actually think the best dancer that could have been was gabby .
I completely disagree with Len, I can think of at least 5 female celebs who didn't win and were better than her. The only reason she was on Strictly for so long was because she was the judges pet, if it was up to the public she would have left quite early.
The only dance of hers I remember was the showdance, and I must admit it was worth having to suffer her presence for months just to see that, it was hilarious.

I agree with Len, Lisa was the best female not to have won. I thought Rachel was dull. Lisa had a sparkling personality, I voted every week for her. Plus she came top of the leaderboard in the final and came 3rd. (Like Zoe Ball). She got the ONLY 80/80 which was so well deserved. IMO the only better females are Jill and Alesha.
Someone should have taped Len's eyes open and made him watch Lisa's showdance on a loop for 24 hours.

I came to Strictly in series 4, so can't comment on anyone before that. However, I'd say Louisa, Emma, And Rachel were better than Lisa (IMO Rachel was the best dancer of series 6 and on technique alone would have won, but I can see how Tom's personality and enthusiasm beat Rachel).
I also think series 5 was a very strong year for the females - aside from the Alesha juggernaut Gaby and Penny were pretty good. And as for Kelly - if she hadn't withdrawn I reckon we'd have seen a Kelly vs Alesha final two, and it would have been too close to call.

I'm of the opinion that Rachel is easily the best dancer not to have won. Looking back and comparing her dances to the previous contenders tends to back that up.

Thats exactly what I think I loved watching Lisa and thought her Ballroom was amazing and her posture was so good. I just enjoyed her more than Rachel.
But then I could never understand the Lisa hate on here.

Couldn't beleive what Len said and tbh it spoiled tonight's ITT for me.
Jill, Alesha, Rachel, Denise, Louisa, Zoe, Natasha & Emma were all much better dancers and even though it pains me to say it (), so was Kelly.
Lisa was the most over marked celeb in the history in SCD.
PS Even now Alesha would win a popularity poll on here between her and Lisa.
