It's been reported in the headlines and discussed on forums all week (and I know im keeping it going!) but why does it matter where Dannii or any other judge sits?

They all have their chance to speak anyway and it does not alter the fact that Dannii is the most popular judge, has the most constructive comments and, hell even looks best!!

I agree - I think it's a load of fuss about nothing.

I would really luv to see Dannii walk out first and just sit in Cheryl seat and refuse to move

Haha that would be hilarious

I really hope the crowd don't yell over all Dannii's comments.

Said it in another thread, but as Dannii will be the judge going first most of the time, she should wait until she has absolute silence before giving her verdict, which will mean the other judges have less time to give their opinions, especially Simon, and will make the whole show about Dannii

Go Team Minogue!!!!!!

Dannii better be careful or she'll be on the floor.

It matters to Dannii, and that's all what counts in her mind.

Like the Afghan war means nothing to her... but you don't REALLY want her to put things into perspective, do you?

It DOESN'T matter where Dannii sits. What matters is why she was moved and how she may feel about being shoved to the end of the table, and how it looks to the public.

That would be awesome... but Dannii is far too professional and nice, she'd never do that. Though I'd give her a standing ovation for it!

It doesnt matter, and according to her Twitter she doesnt care.

I expect it matters to Simon, but then the stupidest things seem to matter to Simon.

Watched the Piers Morgan interview yesterday, she came out of it very well indeed and has done her no harm in relation to her place on the show.

I don't think it does however she may think it does.

It does not matter.Tabloids need a crisis or argument and have not got one to report, so invent a story out of nothing.

Dannii and Simon being the bookends is probably more to do with fact they are the only ones to give constructive advice. Two in middle are waste of space.

I like that analogy. Perhaps you're right.

I don't think it matters in the slightest where they sit. They moved around in the old auditions all the time. Personally I'd rather be next to Louis than Simon anyway,he's much more fun, so I don't know why she's bothered. I don't think it's any reflection on Dannii that she's at the end,Louis was at the end for ages and nobody minded.

To be honest Dannii could be sat on the toilet and still be a better judge than the others.

Dannii sat in the same seat last year, she was always the first to give the comments if i remember correctly so i don't get what the fuss is about.

They probably moved her because they wanted to give the tabloids some fodder. "Oh look! Dannii and Cheryl aren't sitting beside each other, there must've been a big bitchfight before the show!!"

It's funny how a switching of seats has created a big talking point!

Has Louis ever complained about being sat at the end for so many shows?

How many times?

People are miffed because she was MOVED. Not because she's sitting on the end. Especially because she was moved at the last minute so she didn't have a say in it. Also because Simon and the producers' argument for why they did it doesn't make sense.

Anyway, Dannii is fine and as professional as usual. Good for her. I bet if it was Cheryl who had been moved there would have been tantrums.
