Totally agree with you. He probably just wants to defend himself but it's very unhealthy what he's doing. He looked a wreck last week, he's probably been paying far too much attention to the negative things people are saying about him.

Thing is, it must be VERY hard not to pay attention. I mean I only have to have a few people saying bad things about me and I am an emotional wreck so to be attacked from all angles must be terrible. Which is exactly why I don't agree with the twin hate either (when it's not focused on the fact that they appear to be tone deaf) because its not their fault people are voting for them.
Im following her/him/it and they just abuse everyone. I posted the link to the account earlier this week and im surprised nobody has deleted the account. I can't stand danyl but that account is too far.

I don't think they are hilarious they are encouraging those carrying out this.
I rmember another Xfactor contestant receiving terrible things from all quarters. He just ignored them .

Danyl should not have replied at all - it is something he will need to learn if he wants a career in the public eye. The more you reply to them the more you validate them and their opinions.

This has happened before on Xfactor and the person concerned j ust ignored the whole thing and it disappeared.

The Twitter abuse seemed to amplify after the Hitler tweet was mentioned last week. These people probably want their comments to be referenced on the show.

He seems to be the complete opposite of Jedward.Can you imagine them getting involved in a war of words on Twitter? I bet they don't even read criticism of themselves and when they do,it's like water off a duck's back to them.

When you're a contestant in a show that's watched by 14million people every week, then the only thing to do in a case of Twitter abuse like this, is ignore it.
Danyl strikes me as incredibly naive if he doesn't realise the repercussions of responding publically to asinine filth like this can only be bad.
The tweeters are anonymous he isn't. The tweeters aren't subject to their every move being scrutinised he is. To get into this kind of war of words is immature, and damaging.
I feel that Cowell has given up on him somewhat, to allow him to do this, just strikes me as indifference on his part. I'm not surprised X Factor is a popularity contest, I'm sure Cowell sees Olly as a better bet.
