Onto victory sweet Prince, you are gaining momentum for your incredible renditions over the past few weeks. You are all everyone talks about and you have the talent to back it up, now if John and Edward's sympathy vote can wear thin we have this in the bag. THREE cheers for the master of vocal acrobatics, 10,10,10,10,10,10...

Long Live Danyl..........

He's luscious. And the stand-out singer/performer.

*hoping he sings a softersong then I wont have a problem with his voice.

Simon has a massive problem with Danyl and jamie Generic sounding songs week in week out..and thats simons Fault.

I want him to sing a James Morrison song.. i will go off and think which one now, as I agree I dont need to hear him yell again this week, but he will as Simon is an idiot FACT.

Danyl said in one of his diaries that Cowell loves having a big note to end on.

He seemed rather resigned to the fact

He's not even that good. Same singing everyweek, his "stage presence skills" is cleary now his ability to throw his microphone from one hand to the other and he has totally the wrong attitude and top of that he has no star quality. If he was in America, he would get nowhere. They have better, more natural performers with much richer vocals doing what he does in crummy bars up and down the country, and they don't get 10% of the praise he does, and they do it better.
I hope he goes this week, I really do. I'm not being overly negative, he is just literally my nightmare idea of a contestant.

But at least he has 'stage presence skills', which already places him ahead of every other contestant.

From Eoghan to Danyl, you have an excellent taste in music

But he clearly doesn't. Lets see- Week One ambled around the stage until he did the glory note, Week Two ambled around the stage until he did the glory note, Week Three ambled around the stage before botching the glory note and Week Five sulked and moped around the stage before doing the glory note.

So nice of people to acknowledge his notes as glorious

Glory Note isn't actually acknowledging it as glorious. Its just a term used to describe a big note at the climax of a song. Just like when people say "I bet Danyl will get the pimp slot" they aren't actually betting on whether Danyl will head up a posse of prostitutes.

I'd love something more soulful too. How about Paolo Nutini Last Request.

Bloomin Simon and his big note!

I don't think its fair to say he doesn't have stage presence. Say he isn't the best singer if you want, but it was clear from last weeks performance (which seemed resigned to failure) that he does have stage presence. Just because there was that much of a different in him.

Unless Simon changes the routines of both guys..
theres going to be a real danger of a Jamie/danyl sing off its going to happen.

I'm sorry but I don't understand how you define stage prescence. What has he actually done since his audition that in any ways have seen him command the stage??

Everything. There's just something about him that exudes stage presence. Some people have it i.e. Danyl, and some people don't i.e. Joe, Lloyd, Stacey and Lucie.

Simples.

A nice little alcove for him to branch out into if he desires. Danyl is an entrepreneur, he is a fans singer first and foremost

He doesn't have any musicality either. Of all of the acts this year, he is by far the least original in his deliverance of songs etc. With the possible exeption of Jamie.

Well that's plain wrong. Danyl always delivers his songs in his own particular style. It's one of the things his bashers like to use against him actuallement.

There isn't anything about him that exudes stage presence. You're right. Some people just have it. Not Danyl however.

No, he takes a big song, and delivers it in a boomy style. He does nothing to add flair or originality to the songs. I don't want another winner who will release an album of covers.

This I can agree with, no matter what song he sings, he sings it in is own shockingly bland monotonous style.
