Looking at her latest WTF! songchoice for him this week in
Spoiler
Footloose
I am convinced she does not have his best interests at heart. His voice is far more suitable for ballads and she must be fully aware of this fact and all week he has lost his voice yet is now expected to sing this song. I almost wish he would miss the show this week rather than be ridiculed yet again thanks to his mentor.

I'm starting to agree with you on this one.

It's obvious that she favours Joe, but even so you'd expect her to just chuck Lloyd some bland, 'safe' choices. Not so. Every week seems to a be a more and more unsuitable choice for him.

No, I just think she desperately wants him to appeal to the kids and not do what his voice suits. I think she is also spending more time on Joe making sure that her little local poppet does well.

She's been absolutely awful this year has Cheryl.

Gives her another excuse to cry and fight with Simon though thus getting her headlines next week (her main agenda) and ensuring sympathy for lloyd so keeping him in the competition!!

Frankly, it doesn't matter what he "sings" - he would still be shite.

There may be method in her madness... it was sang by Sarah Harding on a GA tour a few years ago. Cheryls probably thinking that if she could carry it off Lloyd might be able to cope with it too!

I am lost for words....cheryl why are you doing this to him?

Lloyd really really needed a ballad this week and what does she go and do give him an up-tempo and hard song to sing.

He has had no time to practice anything! i pray that there is a last minute change.

Im sure many people will be over-joyed because Lloyd will now go this week.....i said when he was saved last week unless he delivers a knockout vocal he is gone..

Bye lloyd

She really has been awful to him. He could have sung the original version of Hallelujah from Shrek 2 as it would have suited his voice. Even When You Say Nothing At All. She has singled handedly destroyed this lad with her songchoices.

I don't think she hates him I just thinks she has a preference for Joe who is her 'Li'le Gordie'.

I think he will be ok though.

Yep, there would have been plenty of ballads he could do have done quite well with - I just don't get it.

She wants his fans to turn their attention to Joe when he gets knocked out of the show. She really is doing Lloyd no favours and I hope someone close to Lloyd can get this songchoice changed as it will do his voice no favours if he has to strain it yet again. He could ruin it permanently.

She is chucking him under a bus.

The truth is, Cheryl is a shit mentor. The reason why she looked good last year was because she had the strongest catergory.

Perhaps she has realised he doesn't have a good voice so is giving him a song with a big production to distract the audience from his voice?

I don't think she 'hates' him. She just is rubbish at anything to do with music, basically.

Immaterial anyway as he has all the tunefulness of a warthog giving birth.

She even mucked that up last year. Lloyd needs a songchange quickly for the good of his health.

I am suprised Yvie is going along with it. Maybe someone should contact her on her twitter page or suggest something like the original version of Hallelujah from Shrek 2 to Lloyd on his Twitter page? Footloose screams performing first to me too.

Makes me laugh that Sinitta (16, 18, 21, however old she is) as a washed up popstar and Simon's "right hand woman" has HALF the amount of followers on Twitter than the X Factor vocal coach

And they'd change a song choice for the least gifted performer who is probably incapable of learning another song in a matter of hours anyway, less than 24 hrs before a live show on your say-so? Reality check!

Is it so hard? Not knocking Lloyd here I am just asking. It is a song I quite like - the only reason I can think it would be so hard is that he will surely have to show some cool moves to bring it off.

I don't think he is such a great singer but he seems a nice kid and I would rather he stayed in a bit longer than J+E. Or Stacey come to that, controversial maybe but I really don't understand the hype.
