If his throat is that bad, I'm surprised that Cheryl hasn't pulled a Diana Vickers with him and guaranteed him a slot in Week 6.

A lot of us feel the same way about Jamie...

What's Lloyd singing? I haven't seen a spoiler for him yet so can't comment.

This whole series and their bad decisions have backfired on them, like many people, I agree the twins are not good, but in the absence of any exciting or interesting acts they are the best thing about the show.”

I would say that Ethan and Duane were streets ahead in looks and personlity as well as vocally.

Lloyd will still be in the competition after Sunday, I just know it.

3 up tempo songs... Can't see the twins going first, Olly has been first before and near the start several times, that leaves Lloyd in the graveyard slot with a bad song choice.

If he ends up in the bottom two, it will depend on who he is up against. I can see Louis saving him over Jamie and possibly Danyl...

No, I won't be happy until a certain person beginning with D leaves.

You have got to be joking. He is stitching those two up to make way for everyone's favourite cheeky chappy Olly.

He over-eggs the pudding with Danyl to put the public's back up - mission accomplished.

He gives Jamie abysmal song choices so that Jamie is either labelled karaoke or a cheat.

Yeah, supportive alright.

How weird I was under the impression this thread was about Lloyd but as usual a certain person beginning with D is dragged into it

Lloyd is singing "footloose"

Yes but Jamie has an amazing voice...he will rock it im sure.
Lloyd is a rather weak singer and very is "raw" and untrained .

I have to agree with this. Considering that Olly has always had the perfect song choice for him (compared to the other overs) and hasn't really been challenged. I've never understood why people say that Olly is the underdog in Simon's group.

I wouldnt be so sure. With the latest WTF! songchoice from disastrous mentor Cheryl and a guaranteed opening performance spot not to mention the fact he still is suffering with his voice judging by his new video diary and no rehearsals then it will be a huge uphill struggle for him this week.

Lloyd could have amazing with the right songs....thanks Cheryl ”

Right - so he is a bit pants then and probably does deserve to be in the bottom two?

Do you not think his female fans will vote big time for him this week Arty no matter how he does, or are they being diverted to Jedward, Joe and Stacey?

I love that song, bluerose. He may surprise you It's a shame with Lloyd, I do like his voice. I actually loved his version of Bleeding Love, the rest of his songs I wasn't feeling until his survival song which was beautiful.

Jamie does have an amazing voice, can't disagree there, but his song choices have been less than inspired.

We have to vote, I suppose.

Cheer up guys, I think he'll be fine
From what I was reading I thought he'd be singing something along the lines of 'And I Am Telling You.'
Footloose isn't really too bad, and maybe the reason he was given it was because he had no voice for a while, so an uptempo would be easier to rehearse than a ballad, with dancing and whatnot.
I think he'll do well

I can understand it, because Simon knows that the public care (far too much!!!) what he thinks. Look how loads of people hate 'Danyl being shoved down their throats' - if I read that one more time I'll scream, and lots of people cite annoying Simon as a reason for liking the twins - I know this is not all of them, I like the twins because they amuse me.

Simon leaves Olly alone to get on with it. He doesn't draw any attention to Olly and let's his singing speak for itself.

No vocal range is not everything.....I love lloyds' tone

No he does not deserve to be in the bottom 2, he has been treated horribly by cheryl and her crap song choices.

He has not got his moment to shine, he really has not been given the chance....thats why i dont think he should be there, i know he can do better.

Leon does have a good voice but in the first four or five weeks of the live shows he struggled badly and was lucky not to be sent home.

People forget this about previous years, the best acts generally take time to reach their peak and I'm sure the same will happen this year.

Spoiler
Footloose
is an easy sing - not a huge range, so he should be more comfortable than struggling through a big ballad and not reaching all of the notes like he usually does, it will no doubt be a big dance number so will look impressive and be memorable to voters, and a quick back flip would not be inappropriate.

Granted, if he's still under the weather he might prefer something more low key, but I don't think this will be the disaster predicted if he is on form”

Poor boy will be knackered singing that and dancing, he would have been better with something like AHA's Living Daylights (that just sprung to mind and actually would be pretty good for him).

Judging by his Facebook fanbase they will really vote for him in big numbers this week but Cheryl is not making it easy for him with the worst songchoices any mentor has given their act in the history of the show. A slow song like Hallelujah from Shrek 2 would have done wonders for getting viewers onside but Cheryl only has eyes for Joe. Lloyd hasnt rehearsed at all this week and this song would be the very last song I would have picked for him. Cowell seems to be pulling the strings and I think he wants the twins to get to the Final as his own Chosen Winner will find it easier to beat them. The tween fanbase is unreliable and the last thing Simon needs is for Lloyd to be the last one standing out of him, Joe and the twins.

Very true
Thats whta im worried about regarding lloyds fanbase..

They were all outraged he was in the bottom 2 but all they seem to be doing is posting on twitter telling everyone else to vote.

Its all very good saying "omg vote lloyd!" but if you dont pick up the phone and vote yourself whats the point?

Are you a lloyd fan arty?
will you vote?
