I just feel that as it gets to the end the public will realise the males don't have any chance of selling records.

I originally tipped Stacey to win but I feel Lucie will come through now, yes another female win

I think if they turn Lucie into a pop chick as opposed to ballads there is a good chance she will come through in the end.

Lucie is probably the most versatile of the remaining contestants also.

I actually feel one of them is going home next week, so take your pick?

What makes you think that?

A Stacey or Lucie would be great I want Stacey to win more, but Lucie coming 2nd would be good. Luv their voices. And I just luv Stacey's personality

Lucie mid-board in the voting and Stacey is slipping. Particulalry if she continues to do ballards.

I think Lucie is in danger in the next few weeks.Shes not "connecting iwth the audience".

I think it will be an Olly/Jedward finale.

A Stacey vs Lucie final would be great for me.

Plus it will put Dannii centre stage again.

to me and most of my mates there is only one catagory in it this year and thats the over 25's..they are all good and could all sell records if managed correctly...

lucie is the only girl i rate this year... but i dont think she will win...

Lucie is connecting with me, so it is a bit silly making sweeping generalisations like that.

Also, no-one knows the voting figures. I would expect a few more weeks before another girl goes as 2 female acts versus 6 male acts that would split the votes.

There are 3 in the Final.

Jedward and Olly are good bets, but the third place is hard to predict.

I'd say Lucie, Jamie and Joe are not far from the drop zone i.e. Bottom 2, it's a close year.

Neither Stacey or Lucie have blew me away so far this year. I want one of the over 25's to win.

Lucie is about midway in most of the poll. With Stacey just above midway.

She'll be in the final two within two weeks.

Lucie is the one who has got the most modern song this week if the song spoliers are accurate so Simon might start looking upon her as a winner she could easily be big in America

In fairness to Dannii, I actually do think she's doing the most consistently good job for her acts

(I'm not counting Louis/Jedward here - this relationship is brilliant but it's become father and sons and let's face it Jedward isn't about the singing.)

Dannii does choose songs to stretch, challenge her acts - not obvious choices and seems absolutely invested in the girls.

I think the real problem comes when the girls aren't fully ready to take on board everything she's asking of them. That's the thing about X Factor one day you're a talented amateur, the next you're stretching your vocal range like never before in front of 14million people.

The one who did seem to grow to the challenge Rachel just wasn't a hit with the tween/teen voting public which is a pity, but I do think Dannii served her well.

Both Lucie and Stacey are talented, you can't take that away, but I do think they needed a hell of a lot more development before they were put onstage.

As it stands Stacey may, may have a shot, but for winner it seems that Olly is being pushed now as the chosen one.

I think Olly stands a good chance.

I think Stacey could make the final .. but I doubt Lucie will

Male winner this year, they have already stacked the deck with the overs selection (all male).

Nah Olly has been pushed far to early Simon dosen't really push his winner until we get to the final 5

I agree, I tipped the two girls pre-show 1 and I'm still going with one of them to win. Lucie in particular has not been overly hyped, she's been consistently good and could "do an Alexandra" and come on strong in the last few weeks. I feel all the overs have been way too hyped to win, Lloyd and Jedward are a bit well, rubbish. Leaving Joe, Stacey and Lucie and I think that Stacey may grate and Lucie will pick up votes as the show progresses.

Girls seem to be winning these shows a lot more often as well, big brother may be a different type of show but 4 guys and one girl in the final and the girl won

If Olly and Joe are in the Final with Jedward, I think Joe will triumph in the challnege to sing 4 songs well.

The jury is still out for me re Olly, Simon has given him quirky songs that dont really test his vocals but allow him to play to his performing strength.

The twins would be severely tested in the Final and found very wanting imho.

Oh no it's contagious - they've got you saying ballards now!
