Personally I think the makeup makes her look cheap and nasty

It's not like she's going to look like that all the time or anything, though I do think she looks horrible there.
I loved her hair shorter; hopefully she's not going to be keeping it long again.

Not the best photo's of her lol. She is ver pretty and has legs to die for, the make-up is too much. She defo doesn't look ugly though.

Of course not this was taken before so what you see her in now with her hair shorter is what is has. Those photo was taken before she even made the video for her first single.

Tying too hard to separate herself from Leona IMO.

Her figure looks great though, just a shame about the make up.

There's no denying Alex is a hot girl but this is soo incredibly unflattering for her. The make-up and eyebrows are definitely horrendous and it screams "trying too hard to be edgy".

Not happy, she looked great singing her hit both on X Factor and in the video.
She looks like a vampire now. Are they trying to connect her with the current crop of vampire movies/TV shows.

This was a shoot for a high fashion magazine that employs arty farty types, so what do you expect?

Also 99.99% of the UK population will never clap eyes on those pics, no more than the same % will read what's posted on DS.

She's a young girl thrust into the limelight and living the dream, good for her that she is making the most of the opportunities that are put her way.

Clearly she had no inkling that this might happen when she absent-mindedly entered a high-profile TV talent show that turns its finalists into some of the most talked about people in the UK.

I'm amazed that no one at that photoshoot said "lolwut?"
