That's the only site I have seen that says it is either 'Son of a Preacher Man' or 'Mad World'. Every other one has said it is 'Son of a Preacher Man'.
I like the idea of 'What A Feeling' though I'd hope Stacey would refrain from doing the whole dance routine.

I am not having a dig, I went all round youtube looking and to be honest was shocked by the lack of any movement from Dusty.. just arm moves, boring, and yet it was a success, so huge Aretha then backtracked as it was offered to her and she said NO.. then saw Dustys success and changed her mind.

Now Joss was on the Xtra factor the other week so when I saw she had sung it I thought GG dont be a wimp go and take a look, and I have none of this ladies songs.. not sure I could name any either sad to say.. as she is good.. and I was blown away.. totally.. she brought the song up to date, and if you read my first reaction at 1am on here or thereabouts I said boring song old hat.. well shows even me I can be wrong.

and I have to say if she does the vocal inflections throughout, the change of melody in the second verse and the rise into the second chorus, it will be obvious where it came from.

Just like Danyl's Feeling Good arrangement and Rachel's One arrangement, XF continues to plunder the 'Adam Lambert American Idol Songbook', whether it is one of Simon's contestants or not.

I hope Stacey does pull it off and doesn't incur the wrath of Cowell because I think she is lovely, very good and potentially very very good.

I had high hopes for Stacey but haven't been wowed yet. If she can pull off Son of a Preacher Man, with the attitude that song deserves.....then I will be wowed.
