He's on the X factor, enough said. Credibility, none.

He has written his own songs and he performs them with his band. Some of them are available to buy on amazon. Look he is 34 years old, he has tried all the traditional routes to getting a deal. He has been gigging with his band for over 10 years. He is probably at loss as to how he can get into the industry at this stage and so is willing to try something like the X factor. What has he got to lose?

yes looks like he's holding a picture of himself.
i think it will just be the newspapers having nothing else to write about and making up stories, i hope so anyway. Jamie seems to be enjoying himself on the show so i dont think he would leave.

His fans ARE rock fans!! We DECIDE what is credible in the world of rock, if you don't like him fair enough. Not every fan of rock likes every rock band or deems them credible. As long as Jamie has fans, he'll do alright. If no one liked him and he had no credibility, he'd have been out on his arse on the first week.

Also, you're right, you DON'T KNOW, so why do you keep spouting such nonsense?”

Maybe we could get Rachel Adedeji to call for us - and then she could play Lloyd's vocal performances down the phone to him?

Nothing. But he may give up the rock act because he will never be one. Unless he becomes more versatile, there is no future for him after the x factor.

He does write his own songs - He cannot sing his own songs on the Xfactor.

He has written them for ages forgoodness sake.

In summary:

1. I don't want him to leave
2. Simon Cowell is a currant, give or take a few letters
3. Jamie is credible and has a hardcore fanbase
4. He can write his own songs, and has done!
5. Someone on FB says they have an album by him

I'm done

He's so rock n roll, that's why.

I bet he drinks a whole shot of Jack Daniels before he goes on stage and bores everyone to tears each week.

He hasnt blown anything because he was 34 years old and had nothing. Some of us are not snobs when it comes to music. I like rock/indie music and would disregard someone just because they had been on the x-factor. Especially when their motives are quite obvious. We know Jamie is serious, he's 34 years old and has been gigging for over 10 years. It's not like he's a 17 year old kid turning up on the x-factor and saying he wants to be a rocker.

What an incredibly random picture of the twins that is on the front of the Mirror - particularly since John (on the left) seems to have a lazy eye!

I feel the same way. I hate the way Simon Cowell messes around with people's lives and emotions

I'm an X Factor fan and I've never bought a single record by any of the contestants. None of them ever grabbed me before because they weren't my style of music. Here's a contestant with something I do like, so I would buy his record.

FYI, I don't even want him to win. As if I'd want Simon controlling his every move. I just want him there for exposure so he can be spotted by someone who does have an eye for talent and not a replica of an existing artist.

The fact that he is on the X factor and not singing and writing his own songs, that apparently were not deemed good enough to be picked up for a record company before, just means he gave up. Being on the X factor is the end of his career as a rocker. So i see no point for him to keep up the act, it will lead no where.
