Well, the press said he'd had a massive row with Simon, and then on the Saturday on TV we saw a clip of the pair of them, with Simon saying "We have to change your song, sorry about this" and Jamie replying "Oh no, don't be sorry".
Why does Simon always change his song choice?
This is what may happen to Jamie.....

Not enough practice = disastrous performance.

I'm an X Factor fan and I've never bought a single record by any of the contestants. None of them ever grabbed me before because they weren't my style of music. Here's a contestant with something I do like, so I wou buy his record.

FYI, I don't even want him to win. As if I'd want Simon controlling his every move. I just want him there for exposure so he can be spotted by someone who does have an eye for talent and not a replica of an existing artist.
I want to buy all his CDs or whatebver as do all his tens of thousand fans on Fbs not counting the websites.
These people want to buy his work now. On xfactor they are asking please we want this song on CD.

I have to agree with this.
but I'm still looking forward to see them tomorrow, no matter what he'll do to them...
The way I see it is this: Jamie and Danyl are smart enough and old enough to realise that they are not pulling the strings. X-factor is a calculated risk which will bring them publicity and open up new opportunities even if they don't win.

I honour your opinion however it is not mine and I have always been a rock fan.

Become more versatile is that you Louis.
Indeed.

I'd love to know what this poster deems credible. Bet I'd hate most of it.

It's all crap anyways, music is so manufactured these days whatever the genre. Unless you listen to some really underground undiscovered artists... which is what Jamie was before X Factor... o no... full circle

Thanks lisa Danyl and Jamie are coming in for a lot of this sort of thing and it is ridiculous. They are such professional performers.

The Mirror headlines about the twins are no doubt cooked up by Cowell to get people voting for them against him.

The fact that he is on the X factor and not singing and writing his own songs, that apparently were not deemed good enough to be picked up for a record company before, just means he gave up. Being on the X factor is the end of his career as a rocker. So i see no point for him to keep up the act, it will lead no where.
Was it the end for Chris Doughty???? No he was a rocker who went on American Idol. He didnt win but was signed up by another label and has been hugely successful.

Each rock fan has thier own opinion and that is why I honoured the posters opinion.

I have had more years in rock than most have had hot dinners.

However I do not shove my opinioins down anyone elses throat as I don't feel that is correct.

I happen to like the way he performs and that is all there is to it.

I Getting pretty riled, as if this news wasn't bad enough having to go over and over the same rubbish with the Anti-Jamie brigade (which seems to consist of about 5 posters) is doing my nut.

I hope you are not talking about me, as you can see from my other posts if you do not believe me, there are people much less talented than Jamie and that i think should get out ASAP. But Please, it's clear he sees himself as a rocker when he's not one. There is no future for him as Rocker. Credibility is fundamental. Without credibility the rocker is nothing.

yeah, you have a point there.
I personally think these guys are amazing in their own way.
they are natural performers and make what they do so easy. they give a lot to the audience which i love.

That's one theory.

Another is that he hadn't been spotted and so never had a chance. Simon asked him at his audition why he was there and Jamie said he had no idea how to break into the music business. He hasn't given up, he's getting exposure!! Any publicity is good publicity! You can get famous doing anything these days, and then the world's your oyster if you play your cards right.

Also, Charlie Simpson went from Busted to Fightstar. I liked Busted as a bit of a joke, but my friends all laughed at me. Some of the ones who listened to crap from Kerrang! now like Fightstar. People don't care, music speaks for itself. Not everybody is so judgemental. Perhaps you shouldn't tar everyone with your brush.

Nothing against Jamie by the way.........but Chris Daughtrey was better, imo, and he shined on AI...but having a mentor just seems to ruin acts which is what is wrong with X Factor. I feel Jamie is frustrated.

Apparently Cowell wants Olly to win now but also ,mentions Joe as a potential winner. Article will be in Star and express.

I may check them out after IT Crowd, but I've only ever seen you bashing Jamie all over the place. Perhaps I only bump into you in Jamie threads.

I think you are right he probably is Heavenly. He is so used to doing his own arrangements for songs that he might feel frustrated.

Ahh busted ive actually seen Fightstar live a couple of times at Download festival and they were pretty good.

Look, i love all rock music whether its heavy, soft or punk. I go to gigs all the time (2/3 a month) and i love Jamies voice and think there is a place for him out there. ALL the overs will have good careers whether it as at the top level or just earning a good wage doing something they love. The winners in X Factor are often NOT the winners if you see what i mean

The set up on AI is more suited to someone like Jamie. The contestants not only choose the songs they sing, but they choose the arrangement and can play their own instruments. But unfortunately there isnt a show like this here.

Well we had Pop Idol and that format went to the US...as in AI. I don't know if the set up was the same with PI...as in choosing own arrangements etc...but I still think XF should go back to PI...no blooming mentors, only interested in themselves.
