Cowell wants Olly to win but also mentions Joe as a potential winner. I think both the Star and Express will have the interview with him.

Boring.....both acts would be utterly dull.

I would rather joe though..just.

J + E would be the best winner imo

Joe will be a one hit wonder if he wins. More suited to the theatre imo.

Argh, obviously I want Olly to win but now I don't think he will do Simon's approval this early on is never a good thing unless you're Leona. I think this is all part of a cunning plan to heap sympathy on Danyl.

Bloody Simon, ruining everything

Could be bluffing though and actually wants Danyl to win.

I still don't see why it matters to SC who wins. He can sign who he wants and he can make a quick buck off any of them as winner.

He is playing games. I think he is trying to take the pressure of Danyl as he has been accused of favouring him. He may still want Olly to win but cant believe he would want Joe to win.

Yes, I understand the possibility that he is taking pressure off Danyl, but your OP said he wants Olly to win which is completely different. So you agree that it doesn't matter to SC who wins?

What he says in an interview and what he really thinks are two different things though. I still think there is a stubborn streak in Simon that wont allow him to be happy unless he has a Danyl win.

Yes I know, the bit in bold was my point, ie he may say he wants X to win but it doesn't actually matter to him.

Me too, I've definitely been posting this here, there, and everywhere for past two weeks.

He stitches up Danyl by giving standing ovations and OTT comments at the drop of a hat.

He stitches up Jamie with bad song choices.

Olly goes out and performs.

So now that he is stitching Olly up by saying he wants him to win, who does that leave as the chosen one?

I think it would matter to him if Danyl was to win as he could then promote him in America as the latest X Factor winner and he could be used to help promote the format there. Pity that he isnt thought of in the same way as Susan Boyle though but she didnt win either.

Doesn't that just leave us with Stacey, Lucie, Lloyd and the twins?

joe won't win - he doesn't have the personality to go with his voice - i actually think Olly could do it, he has a good personality and is very likeable and he can sing, with the right song choices he can go all the way this year - he is definatly the suprise package this year and is now probably the one to beat.

He's been concealing his immense vocal skills and mammoth stage presence from us all this time!
