It is extremely difficult to sing and dance at the same time. The twins know how to pull it off. If they were crap the public would see past all the props and dancing and wouldn't vote for them... I don't vote for them for a laugh and many others don't vote for a laugh. The twins pick up votes because they're entertaining and they are well liked.

If Jamie wants to behave like a diva he can walk....

I don't know what is going on all I know is that this type of agro makes for publicity.

I think to single out two from the others is not great.
Still it is all possibly a storm in a tea cup and is possilble just a pulicity stunt for SC for the XF.

If you knew more about Jamie you would not say that. He likes the twins and has said so and they like him too.
He has pressure on him that would possibly floor the other contestants. Still I like the twins but for a paper to pick out two contestants is just not on. Especially if it is not true.

Can I just point out that Jamie hasn't been mentioned in relation to this at all, and the other link only mentioned Danyl because they have a worrying amount of loathing for him.

Yes, I did feel a bit bad saying that about Jamie. I do quite like him actually and I don't want him to quit. He comes across well in the videos. It seems quite out of character... so it probably isn't even true...

Earlier I read an article, possibly on DS I think, that said Cheryl had to pay £65,000 for her dancers, and all the other stuff she had going on for her performance. I think they said BonJovi's was the cheapest at £30, 000.

So there must be quite a bit of cost going to the twins for dancers and stuff, which the others are not getting spent on them.

True, and I can understand other contestants feeling this is unfair. But realistically some of them might not benefit from big production numbers. As Simon pointed out after Joe's performance when the two dancers appeared, it seemed like a pointless distraction. In terms of the show itself, viewers want variety and changes of pace, as well. A lavish set-up for every segment would quickly prove tiresome.

It seems pretty clear that J & E are driving up the ratings, so the producers probably feel that it's money well spent

The other contestants may not like it, but the fact is the twins do have something special, even their detractors have to admit that. They are very watchable and are making the other acts look bland in comparison, but it's not something they should be blamed for exactly.

If the show's producers have cottoned on to their popularity and are helping that along with timing and staging of their performances that's hardly their fault.

Or maybe idiot factor as there seem to be lots of them trying to destroy the show.
