There Be Pirates!!!! Arggh

Everyone (well some) say that the show needs a little spicing up in format etc as it has got a bit dull - which I have some sympathy with. They also say that "a" judge needs to be culled (not bothered except Sim and since his understandable lay off Lou-Lou - he WAS missed). If that is so (and not sure if this has been suggested before) why not have A.N. Other judge (for TV purposes knock yourself out on suggestions) but the main point being have a PIRATE (with big skull and x bones for effect with dramatic music) category

That is any three acts that don't make it through the other judges categories AND/OR acts from ANYTIME that have been rejected in the competition.

Think its a goer? Would that spice it up just that bit to make it interesting? (To be honest would give a Pirate category to Louis as he has been given the short straw in choices in the last few years so he could knock himself out with female/male age band combinations - I think he would revel in that to be honest).

Ludicrous? Or a real option ? (which I am trade marking for a pitifully small fee Mr. Cowell - you can buy me off v easily).

That might not be a bad idea. They struggled to find good enough groups this year to the point where they had to cobble one together from soloists.

The groups - when they are jokey ones like Same Difference or J&E or talented ones like JLS or G4 - make the show more fun.
