As someone who voted for him, I don't feel I need a refund. I voted to keep him in each week, and he's been there week after week?!

The mentor has his own agenda.(who he wants to win)
When he went in for the comp. did he really know the score I doubt it not many do till they are embroiled in it and all what goes on behind the sceenes. Its his livlehood after all said and done and if Simon is not allowing him to shine then surely its not unreasonable for him to want to quit when a better oportunity comes his way, I sincerely wish he could take it I would love to see him succeed. I doubt he will on this show but it was good for what it is exposure.
I am sure Jamie knows he wont win(thats been earmarked for another) , so why not cut his losses and move on as for the voters I am one of the m and vote my socks off for him , you could say that too about Steve Brookstein 6 mill votes could the public get their money back on those votes, (Simon dropped him 12 weeks later). I would be please just to see him succeed and to buy his material.”
Indeed. I knew he had no chance of winning (fellow Jamie fans please don't hurt me) but I vote to get him exposure

I don't mind if he quits, I know he's not a quitter generally... he's worked damn hard all his life supporting his mum from the age of 15 when she was too ill to work (his dad left when he was little). If he left X Factor I'd understand it was because they made things untolerable for him. Fair play. I, for one, would hate to be told what to wear, what to a sing, and even how to move to the song I'm singing. REAL music is about passion, your OWN passion, not the passion of some clueless-when-it-comes-to-rock-music record producer or lame choreographer or ageing vocal coach.

Why? In case people think we mean Billy Joel?

He did Big Band week... if we believe the tabloids. As you're commenting on this story like you do...

I think he still wants to be a rocker, which is why I DON'T want him to win even though he's my fave by a country mile.

Indeed. Jamie's a 34 year old whose main passion in life is to make great music, and Simon gives him song choices that make me wanna throw up. Rocks? Unchained Melody? Meh! I'm sure he does kick off, but it's going to come to point where it's walk or be kicked out. Walking has more dignity.
