Just asking because i can't remember if they've ever done this before, but i think it would be good to see, as from what i've seen of when people were in bottom two (rachel, danyl, lloyd), in my opinion they've all been better singing those songs that they chose themselves as opposed to what their 'mentor' has chosen for them. Even when Olly and Jamie sung FFTL and Mr Brightside, I preferred this to anything they've done in the studio.

Yeah, I vaguely remember them doing this last year.

Last four it was last year, the contestants chose one song and the judges the other. Surprisingly the contestants choices were far superior imo
