First I plan to watch Ghostbusters, starring the undeniable comedy talent that is William Atherton, just to get me in the mood. Then I plan to listen to the Ghostbusters theme tune several times by Ray Parker Junior on my Windows portable media player, and then finally I will turn the lights down low, turn on the television, put my feet in my massaging Scholl foot spa, and then prepared to be amazed by another ground breaking performance by the young talents that are John & Edward in full Dolby Surround glory, while supping a refreshing glass of Liebfraumilch, with Terrence the cat on my lap.

I will be savouring it by hitting the fast forward button as soon as they come on, its how I have watched most of their performances this season after the first 15 seconds,I can recommend it as a quite painless procedure, though I can see that having a few drinks may have the same effect.

Will probably go and sit on the throne at that point. Its all sh*t.

I will spend the next couple of hours reminding myself that bustin' does indeed make me feel good.

Well I will be sat here probably alone as my son has his girlfriend and a mate round, so they will watch in the dining room, but I have a feeling my son will sneak in here for this, and Danyls performance.

I will have a nice cup of tea my fags and lighter and ashtray, I will also have a tea towell handy in case I take a sip and spit it out laughing, I think it is going to be classic TV from this pair tonight, my one hope is that it has not been hyped up too much and they dont deliver the goods, that would be awful... and ruin my night.

I will sit on the sofa, holding on to the the sofa arm so I don't fall on the floor from laughing.

The same way as any other week.

By fast forwarding the Sky + through the entirety of their "performance" & pick up again on the judges comments.

Call it a hunch, Green Goddess, but I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Well, my savouring of tonight's J&E extravaganza will be accompanied by a prize-winning bottle of red wine my father brought back from a tour of the Rhone-Alpes vineyards.

Which I thoroughly expect to be spitting all over the floor as I fall off the couch laughing.

I shall be in my favourite armchair with my laptop on my knee, enjoying the party in the live show thread here, having consumed a bowl of lentil soup and with a nice glass of wine at my side (if the cat doesn't knock it over).

To those who are planning to fast-forward through the twins' performance - you're a bunch of bluddy philistines!

Thats why mine is only tea at that point I dont want to waste my good wine, I have been doing that on here recently with some of the posts (I think it was Deerd last night)... should know better than to take a sip and then read something.

I do hope they are good, and I do hope they are not on first as if they are it will be all down hill from there... sorry should not say that, as some of these guys can really sing, but I want them on last and they wont be... big build up especially the boring acts and then wham on come the twins.

GG - They aren't going to be good........... they will be bliddy brilliant . The others can sing far far better, but they don't put on a 'show' like the boys

Anyway have just sent OH out to get me a bag of Minstrels.

So hopefully kids will be in bed in an hour, then I will be curled up on the sofa with a mug of tea and a bag of Minstrels............ bliss!
