I've been using Clarins "Instant Light Perfecting Touch" for the past couple of months and it's really good at covering my under eye shadows up - people have even remarked that I look "well"! (I'm hoping it's that that's made the difference and not the extra 7lbs I've put on lately!)

Sooner or later I'm expecting it to run out, and whilst it has been good, it's £22. I've bought Nivea's Natural Radiance eye cream to match the moisturiser I use but I'm not convinced that's going to quite cut the mustard. I don't wear foundation or much make-up at all apart from mascara, so I'm looking for something which blends reasonably with natural skin tone.

Does anyone know anything which works which is any cheaper?

Thanks

SnowDances - many thanks for the recommendation. Bought this product from Aldi earlier this week and am so impressed with the quality and value.

They also had a hand cream and a collagen wrinkle filler in the same brand which also look to be incredibly good value (all under a fiver).

I'd recommend the Aldi products too. I wasn't expecting much to be honest, but i've been pleasantly surprised!

If I have the cash spare I usually buy Benefit's Boing concealer which is around £15, not too heavy and goes on like a dream - http://www.boots.com/en/Benefit-Boing-Concealer_857092/

If I'm on a budget I use Rimmel's Hide the Blemish concealer which is about £3 I think. Surprisingly good quality for the price.

I always buy Loreal products but one thing I wont part with is my RIMMEL conceler. It is the best ever. Have been using it since I was 14!

My concealer is usually my MAC Studiofix powder foundation applied with a dampened clean eyeshadow applicator-always works a treat under the eyes and on spots without the need for a separate product.

When I have more time I build up ELF mineral concealer under my foundation.

I couldn't agree more. I've been using it for the last 2 years and although it isn't cheap, I absolutely love it.

Thanks for all the suggestions, sorry, keep missing this thread when it's at the top and forget to reply!

Clarins Concealer is still going - why do some products seem to last about 6 minutes and some of them seem to last and last and last?!

I use Skinflash by Christian Dior - I think it's better than Touche Eclat.

I swear by Loreal Infallible concealer!

It hides eveything from blemishes to dark circles, i've had other concealers in the past but nothing compares to this one! You know the game - if you could take one beauty product with you to a desert island... - this would be mine

Brilliant, was about to start a thread about this. I've just bought Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch 4.99, was recommended in a magazine as being almost as good as Touche Eclat, think the key word is almost, it's still quite drying and shows up lines, I can never find one that doesn't, so am always stuck with the choice of dark circles or visible lines, nothing seems to do both.

My teenage sister uses the Natural Collection Cover Up Cream (from Boots) and when we were on holiday I'd forgotten my concealer, so I borrowed hers and I have to say it was fantastic and brilliant coverage! I bought one for myself when we returned home, and I have to say, for £2, you can't go wrong!

I have heard Boots natural collection is good too. Can anyone else recommend it?

Cheap ones I always use are, No 7, No 17, Max Factor and Rimmel. I“ve used my friends Touche Eclait and I didn“t like it. Give me the old sticks anyday over the liquid ones, much better coverage. Max Factor not to be mistaken for the really old pan stick, that was vile. I do use expensive foundation and bronzers but am happy with the cheapie cover up sticks.

Believe it or not, I use a cheap concealer from Superdrug. It's part of the Collection 2000 range, and costs £1.99. It's just called Cover Up Stick, and works really well on its own or under foundation.

I don't understand why people spend so much on things when the cheaper products do just as good a job. One of my friends buys a moisturiser that's in the £130-£900 range depending on the size of the tub...

I've always used Illuminating Touch Concealer by Collection 2000, works well for me.

£22 or £2(whatever the price of Collection 2000)... humm.

I have to agree, I use it (and I'm a guy) and it covers up blemishes very nicely and no one notices I have it on.

I had to buy some more this morning and was served by a very cute young guy in Boots who set off my gaydar. He then got on the same bus as me in the evening. Now if only I could get his phone number
