Who will Simon push: Olly or Danyl?
Danyl's pros:
He has slightly more potential as an international artist, and Simon has already said he has the best voice in the competition - if someone else wins now, it's a bit hard for Simon to backpedal and say they were best. It also means Simon can tell everyone what a good judge of talent he is - knew he'd win from the start etc Danyl's cons: He probably won't win.... Olly's pros: Simon can claim that he saw raw talent, and then shaped it - can claim credit for it. Olly has the charisma and attitude to be pretty succesful in the UK as Robbie-lite Olly's cons: Simon's already told all the viewers that part of Olly's charm lies in knowing he's not the best singer. He has to watch someone who can't actually sing that well/whom he has publicly said can't sing that well, win his 'singing competition'. Also, Olly has just about zero appeal outside the UK |

No the official site says it is ROY ORBISONS song, which amazes me totally so not what I thought he would argue for...

For the moment I suspect he will continue to push Danyl (much to Danyl's detriment).
He'll wait until nearer the final before really throwing his weight behind Olly. Jamie is just making up the numbers as far as Simon is concerned. |

Olly is entertaining in his own way on the X-Factor and no doubt will prove popular on the tour.
However, as a stand alone performer I somehow doubt that he has what it takes. I know that some compare him to Robbie. The big difference is that Robbie always had a special spark about him, even as a teenager. Performing on stage has always come naturally to him, yet I'm sure he's also had to work hard at getting it just right. Robbie makes it look easy because he connects with the audience and he knows how to work the audience. Olly is just a young (ish) pretender who, if put on a stage and be expected to capture an audience for some considerable time with his own show, would struggle. He's fine in his current environment but I think his talent is very shallow. |

I assume Simon's aim is to keep his 3 acts in for one more week. So I assume he would be pushing all of them. Since he gives more standing ovations to Danyl and Jamie (so far) it seems these are his faves. But knowing he thinks Olly is great 2, I can only assume he wants all 3 to stay in. Especially since there are at least 3 acts he doesn't seem to like that much ie Stacey, LLoyd and Jon n ed (tho i expect he wants the latter to stay in but who knows - he usually means what he says)

Heart may say Olly, but head Danyl...just hope he keeps him arse on his seat.
Edit - if he starts going on i.e bragging, about having 3 acts still, then I'd say he's setting himself up to loose one tomorrow. |

Deffo Danyl has the most potential to shift albums.

Yes sit down Simon and shut up as well..
Danyl for me is the more talented of the two, with more charisma, Ollie sorry my daughter loves the guy, and I just do not get it, his hair is a mess as well. I like him well enough but he does not tick all the boxes. However I think Simon may plump for the safe bet, as Danyl has had so much bad press. Mind you so have the twins and they could still win this. |
