The twins, just their usual "car crash TV" reasons.
Also Stacey - I really hope she gives a good performance of this song, it could boost her votes in a big way. |

I honestly think, providing they kick their A-Game in, Joe and Danyl could be awesome tonight.

If she pulls it off Stacey could emerge a winner tonight, if not it'll be a swift exit in the next 2 weeks, I think. If she can incorporate dancing she'll really have pushed herself and showed a lot of developement which, let's face it, is what won it for Alexandra last year - learning and growing as an artist.
Lucie could appeal to a younger market with the song, if she keeps it a bit rockier (watch Demi's performance in the actual film) and keeps it on a similar line to last weeks performance she could win a few fans over. I think she has a good base fan group but she started off rough (Leona comparisons and a weak attempt at Whitney) the last two week she's really gone for it and I feel she's finally finding herself after last week. Joe will probably do well but there's a risk he's going to become very boring. He's my current favourite (along with Lucie) but I feel he needs to do something special in order to proove his worth. Both Lucie and Stacey have edged out of their comfort zones and have etched some kind of genre (Dannii seems to be psuhing at a soft/rock-indie feel for Stacey and a pop-rock for Lucie), Cheryl needs to find a place in the market for Joe fast. I'm a little worried about Lloyd, I was hoping he would be gone after he fell into the bottom two last week. The girls were having fun over halloween and he hadn't grabbed enough of the casual viewer vote due to a poor performance. This week he's got the rebound vote and the sympathy vote as well as the fact the tweens wil be voting in droves to get him through. I hate to label the voting demographic but it's what I think will happen. As for his performance I do think he'll shine this week, but only in comparison to his past performances not because he's better than any of the rest left. John and Edward, I love them but I think the viewers might find this week a bit much, going beyond the joke maybe? I hope not as I look forward to seeing them everyweek. I can't be bothered with the others, lol. They don't get me as passionate as those above! :P |

I think Lloyd has the potential to stand out. As do Joe, John & Edward, Olly and Jamie.
I honestly can't pick an act as the worst judging by songs - I think out of any, tonight will be the night where a contestant proves "I should win this." |

John and Edward are sure to shine. I'm a bit pessimistic about Lloyd and Jamie. Olly will do well, but there's only one of him and there were four Beatles; not sure it's a great solo vehicle. The others I expect will offer more of the same, which has got them this far but may not carry them much further. Joe and Lucie especially need to define themselves more individually to stand out and I don't think their song choices this week are ideal vehicles for achieving that. |

My thought exactly. I hope she does pull it off.

If Lucie brought out an album similar to Demi's 'Here We Go Again' she could be very successful. |

Danyl and Stacey : Make or break time. Will either be totally wonderful or truly awful. I hope for them both to do really well.
Jamie - Not sure. I was looking forward to him turning the most boring song in the world (unchained melody) into something worth listening to. Now I can't bring myself to have an opinion. I will wait and see. Lucie - Trying to cement last week. A good song to do that with, and could be great. Olly - Mmm. Too much Beatles methinks, but he is a terrific performer, and that should make it pretty good. Lloyd - Well, at least its not Footloose! ![]() Joe - will sing it well as usual, but I agree with those who say now he needs to find his place rather than become the typical "generic good singer" Jedward. Doesnt matter how they do, it matters what they do! Going to be awesomely funny. No point in worrying anymore about their singing ability. The time for that is WAY WAY behind us.

Danyl, Stacey.
Funny because vocally I've never rated Stacey before...but if she can pull off this classic, it'll be a "Summertime" moment I think. |

If Danyl pulls it off, then he will definately stand out. I am not so sure yet on the others. none of their songs grab as giving them that stand out performance they all need.

I think Stacey could break away from the pack with a good performance.
Lucie's is safe and should appeal to the youngsters. Danyl could go either way after having Ruth do such a great performance of this before, a bit risky. Joe could be great as long as he doesn't warble too much. How anyone can take Jamie's choice seriously if they have watched Only Fools and Horses is beyond me.

I'll get back to you when I've actually heard the performances.
I wouldn't want to make my mind up in advance.
