I'm finally moving on from my old Sky+ SD setup, and intend to migrate to an HD Freesat PVR. I'll buy a new HD set to go with it, but will keep a couple of older SD sets to which I've happily been distributing my Sky+ via a loftbox etc.
QUESTION: Is it generally normal for Freesat PVRs to be able to output HD (eg on HDMI) and SD (eg on SCART) AT THE SAME TIME? I need to do this if I'm to send the signal from my Freesat PVR to a new HD TV and the old SD sets around the house.
The Freesat PVRs I'm considering include Humax FoxsatHDR and Panasonic DMR-BS750. Will either of those do what I need?
