What an excellent show tonight. The Blackpool audience really brought a wonderful atmosphere to the show and how great to see Jill and Penny again.

Let's hope for more Blackpool next year.

I thought it was a wonderful spectacle. Really well done to the BBC and the production staff who really stepped up this week.

Yes, I agree. Truly it was a joyous show. The competitors were chuffed to be there; the pro dances, the group dance, Jill Halfpenny, Penny Lancaster were all great to watch; the audience - everyone seemed so happy.

Great show, and even Bruce was on top form tonight. He even sang better than the BeeGees and Andy Williams !

I'd forgotten about Bruce. Normally his annual singing spot bores me but tonight I thought it was fitting.

Ditto....By far the Best show of the series so far.....I`am hooked on Strictly again.....It does make you realise just how lacking in atmosphere Television Centre is though when you compare tonight with the regular show from London.

It adds so much to the show. What a fab-u-lous show!

I agree superb show ... terrific Tower Ballroom setting and atmosphere, and intelligent scoring from the Judges and the public ... giving the correct result ... lovely to see the gorgeous Jill Halfpenny and Penny Lancaster ... Bruce was on top form tonight.

I thought that too - his singing was really decent and he is amazing for a man of his age. In fact, he'd be amazing for a man 10 years younger.

The singing overall was very good tonight. It was a shame about the sound quality but the Tower ballroom is so cavernous it's not built for TV shows.

Such a great show tonight. You could just sense how excited everyone was to be there. Quite a surprise to see Jill Halfpenny, but surprised in a good way. And yes, made even better by the fact the voting was right too. Nice to see Karen make an appearance.

Blackpool breathed new life into Strictly-fabulous show. They should take it on the road more around the country-definitely should have a Blackpool show every year.

Personally the Final should be held in Blackpool.

They need to sort out the sound there though. You could hear people yapping at the start of Rod Stewart's performance, and during some of the dances.

The sound people in Blackpool were the same sound crew that the show has when it's in the studio in London. So it's hardly the fault of the venue that sound was a bit slapdash.

This series is just getting better and better! 10/10 BBC!
