Fab fab fab show. Blackpool you shone and were the star of the show (after the lovely Jilly Halfpenny of course).

Loved it!

Totally agree, it was a bit of let down.
Apart from the sound the show tonight was marvellous.

Never mind next year, how about more this year?!

Not wanting to be greedy but maybe the Final and/or the Christmas Special?

Agreed, she always was, and still is fabulous. The best EVER by a Golden mile!

Firstly, the sound issue at the beginning of Rod's performance was that of the competitors (I am guessing) backstage who were wearing radio (body) mics being fed through the PA system instead of Rod's backing singers so I suspect the sound technician's made a mix up and fed through the wrong mic/s perhaps instead of the backing singers - it wasn't the audience that were being picked up. Yes it is unprofessional but it can happen anywhere and is a frighteningly easy mistake for a technician to make - I doubt it had anything to do with performing at the Tower.

Secondly, this show was AMAZING!!!

Best show of the series and so much more exciting than usual, for the first time in ages I felt thrilled watching it. Please make Blackpool a regular SCD fixture BBC!
