Bit disappointed with Rod Stewart.

No Katja Rieckermann.

He sang the same song on Tuesday's Dancing With The Stars.

And flew back with Len & Bruno.

I wish someone close to him would tell the old fool to retire and stop embarrassing himself.

Err..
His voice has been "shot to pieces" since "Maggie May."

It's a fact he had clinical trouble with his voice a few years ago, that's why he started including the popular big band "song book" numbers in his act. But he can still draw the crowds and I thought he did just fine.

The fact that he can still sing (all be it not as good) after throat cancer is nothing short of miraculous.

I thought Rod Stewart's performance was quite good. I would of prefered him to have sang Young Turks instead though.

Although, I do have my suspicions that he only agreed to come on the show if they let Penny dance...

Rod and Harry C were the best of all the guest performances so far -beats the Bee Gees into a cocked hat as they say

Thought it a dirge.
And Penny was no better than I remembered.

Is this what happens when we reach pensionable age now? We get a gig on SCD? My turn soon.

Dito

but having said that I thought it was an entertaining section of the show and miles better than some of the other guest performers on SCD.

I ended up fast fwding through the last couple of minutes. Rod's washed up now.
Saturday night TV certainly attracting more than it's fair share of over the hill acts.

That is exactly what I thought. Rod's performance was fine - he is a professional after all. But to see him we have to put up with Penny doing her clumsy Dire Dad Dancing again.
