It must now be a blessed relief for Flavia.
Have to say she didn't look too sorry.....

I'm not sure.

I think Craig knows how bad he is. I also think he is a bit of a clever smart arse.

He tries hard, and doesn't like the fact that he ain't good, so he spins it around and plays the sincere 'I thought I was good' deluded, sweet, card.

He's neither deluded nor sweet, in my opinion, he very well may be a rather prickly arrogant sort - defensively perhaps, from very young, and he has had one over on us.

I don't actually mind. It was interesting to watch. And he couldn't blame the public for voting for him, he played the game.
Interesting interpretation. I thought his "I thought I was quite good" comment was genuine - in that he sounded quite surprised. I think that is the key to why he can't dance - he literally can't see what it is he's doing wrong - how he moves in relation to how it should be done & others (ie the pros) are doing it.

It's a bit like someone who's tone deaf & can't hear the difference between the note they're being played & the note they're actually singing.

On top of that I think he's a bit cocky & arrogant... & very, very dull...

***None**** of them were aware

They wouldn't entered strictly to be ridiculed every Sat night

They **found out** they were crap dancers *after* the whooooooooooole world told them so

Yet another tediously obvious Fact!!

.

Your whole posting style shows that you are completely unaware that you ***appear*** to need anger management or similar counselling. You held back from the 'moron' bit here. Is that an improvement?

Graphology works on the Internet, up to a point.

I absolutely agree - he really did think he was/is good - completely deluded!

I missed last week so couldn't believe that Zoe was out and he was still there!!!

Clearly his supporters thought Blackpool was as far as he deserved to get and did not care that judges were hurting the little Bambi. That's a destiny of bad dancers surviving on public support. Once they get to dance off it's the end.

Like some perhaps....

Just as some seem bissfully unaware what complete drivel they post as FACT.
If you're suggesting Craig knows he's bad dancer - then you're entitled to be totally wrong

You are quite right - and it's pretty obvious

...It's a bit like someone who's tone deaf & can't hear the difference between the note they're being played & the note they're actually singing....
good analogy

I cannot sing. But when I sing it sounds great to me. I am fantastic.

If I hear a recording of myself however I can tell the difference between my voice and someone who can sing well.

Craig may feel he dances well but if he watches a video of himself and still thinks he is good then there is no hope for him.

Many people get angry when faced with moronic behaviour - y'know when *we* all feel like *we* are "bashing our head against a brick wall"

You dont get any psychology points for detecting that

but you're equating that with it needs managing is a total joke

Afraid you've credited yourself with far more knowledge than you actually have ha ha ha

In case you don't read the piffle you type....

that's the nature of someone who cant dance - and that's a stone cold fact!
And...

***None**** of them were aware.
Are both generalisations that simply don't stand up - FACT.

That's never stopped you so far, Jethro.

Arlene does not necessarily agree with you either. Read between the lines.

(For example some accept being told in good grace and so on.)

The point about Craig is that he is not the same as every other person who can't dance, and of course they are all individuals and not a solid mass. There are degrees of unawareness or delusion, and his seems an unusual case meriting discussion and comment, which is all some of us are doing.

I always thought that his comments were a bit tongue in cheek/an attempt to be humourous!!!
Glad you said that, I thought I was alone in thinking he was joking all along. I don' tthik he ever thought he was any good, perhaps he was acting the part of 'shocked they don't see how good I am' contestant too well and everyone thinks he was serious

I've thought that too, but can't decide! It's a mystery.

Craig is blissfully unaware that he cant dance - this is perpetuated by people that immediately surround him telling how well he is doing and shield him from the truth(lot politicians are the same) - it's now called "being positive" and used to be called "bull sheet"

he is genuinely gob-smacked by the judges and he just thinks they dont like him personally

every time he says "i thought we did alright out there" he looks at Flavia for support and it's all she can do to stop bursting out laughing

he's not taking the pzzzzzz - the man is sincerely oblivious - just like half the x-factor auditions

i'm sure since he's now out the show - a few close friends and family have started being "honest" with him
