You can keep a note of my name if you like, and if I ever make a post that demonstrates the stupidity and arrogance of anything Alesha said to Craig I hope you will point it out to me because it will be just what I deserve.

Arrogant because she seemed to think she was above having to "endure" Craig's performance which was presumably the best he could give.

Stupid because she doesn't seem to understand that it was the public who voted Craig through and didn't vote for Zoe and he can't be held responsible for people's voting.

That was my problem with her comment as well. It was clear that all the other three found him dreadful - they didn't actually need to use those words for us to know their opinion. Bruno said what he needed to say with humour - which always helps to take the sting out of it.

Alesha on the other hand was just throwing her toys out becuase Zoe got voted off last week. That wasn't Craig's fault!! She could have found a much better way of saying what she needed to say. But then again "say it as you see it" has never really been my idea of talking truthfully. Its just an excuse by those who lack the vocab to be rude and crass.

I was a tad shocked, I thought Alesha shot herself in the foot a bit there. As Fatskia says, there was no need to bring the Zoe debacle into it.

I'm wondering if Bruno tells her what to say most of the time, I'd say get rid of her and just have three judges or get yet another replacement with a professional.

i thought they were just plain nasty but atleast next time shes singing one of her terrible songs i wont feel guilty for thinking madonna/beyonce/ yet i have to listen to that.

Well considering some the things that Craig, Bruno, Arlene and even Len have said in the past it didn't exactly seem like a burning at the stake offence...

Yes - each year I have complained about the judges making comments that are irrelevant to their job! I believe that the dance-off was introduced because the judges weren't happy about (so called) better dancers being voted out. So, in effect, the judges were given more power to decide on who goes through than the (paying) public. They have no right to criticise the celeb for the fact that the public have voted for them. Alesha has gone way down in my estimation now, because her comment about Zoe was out of order - she was not criticising the dance, but criticising the public! As much as I like Zoe and James as a couple and agree that they should not have gone last week, I do realise that it is not Craig's fault in any way that they were voted out (or, rather, not voted in!), so Alesha should not have used her judging moment to blame him!

Well, I think she was rude and patronising. The audience obviously thought so too.

I was beginning to warm to ALesha - but not any more.

I don't think he was deluded - I just think he's an optimist who puts a positive spin on things. From where he was to where he is in his view he is probably leaps and bounds ahead and as such in his head he did a good job. he enjoyed himself and after all this is not life and death is it. If he gives a bad performance no one dies or goes to prison.

Alesha was just plain nasty, ignorant, petulant and rude imho. Her qualifications for being a judge are supposed be "she has been there and done that" clearly she has forgotten what its like to stand in front of the judges. Silly girl.

To be honest she was absolutely right (although its not Craigs fault people voted to keep him), but her delivery shows her inexperience and failings as a judge. It just sounded bitchy, dismissive and downright rude.

Seeing as Craig got hauled over the coals for personal comments to Jo Wood, I felt it was very harsh.

Exactly. It's just nit-picking now; tryna' find faults with Alesha. I personally think there's no polite way to say "Zoe should of been here tonight instead of you."

AND he hasn't improved whatsoever since the start of the competition.

I don't think her end comment was patronising at all, I think it was nice of her to say that. She genuinely does believe he has been sweet, as she's stated before in other weeks.

And to whoever said she was wrong to use the word "attempt": I've heard the other judges say it consistently throughout the competition.

The audience disagree with anything that's remotely offensive/negative to the celebrities; scores below 8, negative comments, constructuve criticism etc.

None of our favourites let us down did they?

We were treated to some very exciting routines.

I think the buzz of Blackpool gave our couples the extra lift they needed to flourish.

Laila and Chris were my favourites of the night (and indeed series) but Natalie and Jade were a joy to watch as well.

Alesha spoiled what was a very special night for Craig I'm sure. She could have delivered her verdict without getting so personal.

Why on earth should your opinion carry more validity than that of the SCD audience?

The woman never had or has had any buisness being a ballroom dancing judge. And the fact she's still there, still destroying the credability of this show and still allowing ghastly Simon Cowell to bound ahead virtually unchallenged with his dreadful steamroller/freak show, is what saddens me the most.

I mean, don't get me wrong, SCD has a lot of other problems, but number one is Alesha flaming Dixon. X-Factor shouldn't be getting the free ride its getting this year and those numptys at the BBC that thought it was a good idea of have an unqualified judge must shoulder a lot of the responsibility.

Totally unprofessional, rude, and hypocritical. No one deserves what she said to Craig.

She could have done it without bringing up her pet Zoe.

She made Craig feel guilty about her departure.

Just tell him he wasn't very good and leave it at that.

What made Alesha think she has any right to be so nasty to Craig for the apparent crime of being liked more by the public last week than Zoe?

Last week Zoe obviously didn't appeal to the public and Craig did (for whatever reason). Zoe's fail - and while Craig may have been the worst there were other dancers who were worse than Zoe last week who got through too.

Alesha showed she can't be impartial and professional. The other judges can be critical about the dancers because they are real dance judges. Alesha is not and however deluded Craig may appear to be about his dancing abiity Alesha's personal vitriol was undisguised and uncalled for.

It's very easy in such a situation to feel you are better than you really are especially if you are putting in a lot of work and you finally feel you got a dance right (for your standard). Plenty of people in all walks of life are deluded about their abilities (like Alesha and her judging ability maybe!)

Alesha does seem to be displaying a nasty streak of late. I was absolutely no fan of Craig (love Flavia though) and I'm relieved for everyone's sake that he has gone. I still haven't forgotten her "drunken ragdoll" comment either.

There was no need to humiliate him; I felt sorry for him getting so ridiculed, in his hometown too. The judges should be able to give an honest appraisal and hopefully some constructive criticism, but why does that have to equate to demeaning putdowns?

As someone else has pointed out, one of the justifications of her role as a judge was her own personal experience as a contestant. Well she shows a great lack of empathy at times and some cruelty.

I think Ms Dixon is in for a rude awakening. I really liked her too, but have gone off her in a massive way since she's been judging this show. There was absolutely no need for her rudeness, none whatsoever, it's almost as if she's deliberately being controversial in an effort to stick two fingers up to her critics...... I personally think she is losing a lot of fans, and the contrived comment to Craig at the end was too little too late....

Get over yourself Alesha and remember where you came from.......
