Saw Chris Hollins on breakfast this morning and apparently he is dancing to The Darkness 'I believe in a thing called Love'

To be honest I feel a bit about that choice.

Argh. And there I was thinking Cola shouldn't be underestimated in the dances that require drama and passion, after they pulled off a not-at-all-bad rumba. That song choice will kill the whole thing stone dead.

In the words of Hugh Grant: Bugger, bugger, bugger.

Who's being recruited for the falsetto?

(Is Barry Gibb still hiding in Claudia's bunk beds?)

I can actually see it working for the Paso.

The beat is fine, but the sentiment of the song is all wrong; not fierce and angry and tortured enough. Doing paso moves and a 'paso face' is going to not fit at all.

Regardless of the musical structure it's so obviously not a paso song - it's too joyful and happy and frivolous and, well, silly. There's no tension or drama or passion at all.

Ola's clearly going for cutesy over content. Again.

The Darkness? Seriously?

I love Chris and Ola but I hate that song and for a paso? Maybe it will work but I'm not seeing it at the moment. Hopefully though, the choreography will be strong and overcome that horrible song.
Fingers crossed they'll get enough votes to get through if it doesn't quite work.

Edit: But thinking about it, I did love Kenny's paso - one of my favourites on the show. And that was to Franz Ferdinand. So maybe it won't be so bad after all *fingers crossed*

Are we even sure it's the paso?? With the Jordan's history of dodgy music choices who's to say they're not going to come out and samba

Am loving Team Cola - here's hoping whatever happens though they'll be through to next week!

I think that there's more chance of you being bitten on the bum by a bull shark while swimming in Rutland Lake, than of Chris & Ola being in the dance-off. They are easily the most popular with the public, and that's really saying something considering they're up against Phil Tufnell.

Cant see Chris being able to master a paso face so cute is probaly the best we can hope for.

Maybe he will be able to count with a fierce face.

Surely he can at least try? It can't come out any worse than Ali's did. All 8 of them.

I am increasingly despondent about Team Cola. I love them, but it's getting to the point where their dancing can't justify that affection for much longer. Ola's choice of that song epitomises everything I don't like about her way of working.

Chris deserves better than the cutesiness Monkseal has already mentioned. Get him something that shows off what he can do.

And I want to love them, I really do. But they just make it so difficult for me. I don't like the paso to start with but danced to The Darkness? What?????!!!

James had some very dodgy song choices with Zoe and I think Ola is going the same way. Chris and Ola are a cute couple but cute is just not enough for me.

Well I refuse to be despondant I dont know the music so I have no pre concieved ideas......one of my friends said that Chris isnt good at faces and we might see a repeat of the awful Tom Chambers Paso face I stuck my fingers in my ears and went la la la la la as I dont want to think that either......

I SO want Chris and Ola to go through he is better than Ricky G (even though I like him too) For the first time in strictly history I am in a position that anyone that goes home this week (apart from Nipple and Natalie) will make me a bit sad. but if it was Chris is would make me a LOT

If anyone linked to Team Cola is reading this: CHANGE THE SONG, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!

The Darkness briefly seemed like fun but quickly turned into a parody of themselves - and they were pretty close to parody to start with. This is not a good idea and I just hope they can dance their way out of it.

The Jordans have had very mixed music choices: James scored highly with Cherie's Rumba and Ola's choices for Chris' rumba and foxtrot were excellent. This, however, isn't good ...

On a positive note - I caught 'Nights in White Satin' playing in the background for Ricky and Erin's VW. I love that song and think it will work really well. Don't worry folks - I think apart from the Cutting Crew modern music works well for pasos - don't all shoot me trad music fans.

The Darkness? Ay caramba! Can I also hazard a guess that Ola will be wearing a Justin Hawkins catsuit?

But please, the same way round as Justin wore them.

I have no problem with modern music for pasos - just THAT song. It'll never work. Mark my words.

However, I've been hugely cheered up by the thought of the Moody Blues track, so that's nice. Will Erin be in a gown of the same?
