I think that was the overriding impression I had from his audition (and before Simon's bizarre comments, too). I couldn't really care less what Cheryl and Louis think, although I am a tad curious what they've seen that we haven't.

The problem is, it's gone to her head. She believes her own hype. She doesn't have a 20th of Danyl's ability, she's just more successful. (I'm a Jamie supporter btw)

You're right, she does believe her own hype. She also strikes me as someone who believes they can never do any wrong.

So far Danyl has taken her snide comments with good grace and like a gentleman, so I can't understand why she won't stop undermining him. She should at least give him some credit for this as well as some respect for his ability to sing.

A caller to the Xtra Factor last week suggested it was bullying and I am starting to see Cheryl as a smug little madam who is abusing her position.

Danyl is only a member of the public who is having his 15 minutes on a reality show and she needs to remember this.

If Sinitta did contribute to the NOTW artical then she made a fair comparison with Subo and her meltdown under pressure, and the Xfactor need to tread carefully.

What a nasty thing to say and that was BEFORE judging.

Her own voice was so off key when she sang 'The Promise' with her mates Girls Aloud - the others seemed fine. Hers was awful, so for her to be making comments like that about Danyl is hypocritical in the extreme.

By the way, I 'Go with the Fro' so have no particular allegience to Danyl, just thought Cheryl was very bitchy to him tonight

You can see it in her eyes that she doesnt like him. Even today she gave him some praise but she didnt mean it. Also when he was in the bottom 2 you could see she wanted him gone.

hmmmn... unfortunately I fear the judges alleged opinions maybe well tainted and biased as other posters have identified. CC obviously doesn't like Danyl and even her dubious insincere praise was given through gritted (well polished) teeth.

Cheryl is a complete hypocrite. She has no problems showing blatant dislike towards Danyl, and her comment about the twins when Rikki left was uncalled for & disrespectful to both them & their voters - but you know if anyone dared to act like this towards one of her precious acts; she'd be in outrage. Danyl fan here. But I'm more than willing to put him down when he deserves it. Tonight there was a whole shot of her glancing to the side when he was on, as if she really couldn't be bothered watching. Which is just damn irratating to be honest.

She is being really unfair to him at the moment. I mean, I would say that Simon is unfair to some degree... but at least he's fairly unfair.

I dont think so. What complete cr*p. Hes the most smug arrogant person to ever be on X Factor. Has himself bullied some of the other contestants. Has been branded a bully by no less than 6 people associated with the show - Kandy Rain, Rachel and Louis.

And now Simon has the ghaul to send Sinitta out and sell a story pretending he is the one being bullied That man has no morals. He will stoop to any level to win. The only ones being bullied on the show are the Twins. They have to endure harsh criticism from Simon, Dannii and Cheryl every week and a chorus of boos from the audience every time they appear on stage or their names are mentioned. The judges take pot shots at them at any given opportunity - Cheryl the week Ricki went, Dannii tonight, Simon - any chance he gets. And for Simon to pretend that somehow Danyls abuse is worse than that p*sses me off mightily.

So are we going to see an Osbourne style outburst from Cheryl on finals night when its Danyl vs Jedward in the final two:

Does anyone else feel the stench of Max Clifford behind this article? It is all about manipulation, Danyl was labelled cocky and Cheryl does keep on about it and that is nasty, but in the end it is about the contestants not the judges.

I prefer Danni and Louis because they don't try to make it about them and their ego's don't get as inflated as the arrogent Cowell and talentless Cole/Tweedy.

Dannii is the only judge with an ounce of sense this year.

Cheryl is an idiot, Simon is very silly, and Louis dissed Dermot so BOOOOO. (Ok, that last one was a bit meh, but I love Dermot!)

I loved Cheryl last year, this year she is a joke. Simon has lost the plot. Louis is ok most of the time, I love his loyalty to the twins which he shows in a reasonable way, not like Simon standing ovation no matter what Cowell.

And to people who don't like Danyl and keep beating him with a stick - go ahead. It says more about you than about him.

My opinion is that Mrs Cole gotten too big for her boots

1. She had the winning act last year and thinks she is entitled to another win this year despite there being much better acts than hers in the girls and overs 25's

2. Everyone is treating her like royalty this year for some baffling reason and she is lapping it up

3. She has had a chart and singles double

4. She has been dubbed a national treasure


She gives a half hearted apology to Kandy Rain and then when she performs she comes out in the style she was criticising KR for and she expects people to worship at her feet

Then she has a strop because she loses one of her acts to the twins and expects everyone to feel sorry for her and then the very next week is praising them to the hilt
