Apparently both Dance in The Dark and Alejandro are being released as promo singles. Don't know if this is true though but DITD is on Irish iTunes

I AM GOING TO CRY. This is AMAZING. Quality. I love the 'I'm a free bitch b-b-bitch' parts, just like the screeching "I'm a free bitch baby!" in Bad Romance. I CAN'T F&$KING WAIT FOR MY FAME MONSTER TO GET DISPATCHED!!

Every single song I've heard from The Fame Monster has been fantastic. Very pleased at these songs.

'cause she's a free bitch baby!

In all seriousness though, how much has this girl improved?! Yes, she was good from the start of The Fame era with all the stomper's but now the songs that she's chucking out are just pure QUALITY. She's a lyrical genius. Her and her team. WELL DONE EVERYONE!!

I honestly think this is one of the songs of the year and maybe even one of the best pop songs of the decade. It's that good!

How good is the Vogue-esque rap near the end! 'Tell 'em how you feel girls'

You have to hand it to Gaga..she does seem to just keep getting better and better. I foolishly wrote her off at the start of the year when she first came to my attention with "Just Dance" as a Christina Aguilera copycat who would most likely be a one hit wonder What has happened though is that she has pretty much single-handidly kept pop music alive in 2009.
I also like the fact that you can tell her music is developing and no doubt getting darker yet she still retains that sense of familiarity to it too, like the 80s synths are still there and are very much her trademark now. I also get this sense from Gaga that she doesn't take her music too seriously (I mean this is a good way) and so it seems work perfectly. In contrast to this see Rihanna and her oh so pretentious epic fail of a song, Russian Roulette Rihanna would do well to learn from Lady Gaga right now.

Just heard this song and I like it

She says "your still in our hearts Diana" - Is that a reference to the late Diana?

I believe so.
That rap/talky section is the only part of the song that I'm kinda iffy about but really she should definitely release this as a single.

Its about tragic female icons. Marylin Monroe, Judy Garland are also mentioned but I have no idea who the Syliva is .

That would be the poet Sylvia Plath. She put her head in a gas oven so she fits in with the tragic female theme. Most bizarrely, she also mentions Jon Benet Ramsey.

I really hope DITD is released as a single at some point.

This part is genius:

'Marilyn, Judy, Sylvia, Tell em' how you feel girls, work your blonde benet ramsay-we'll haunt like liberache, find your freedom in the music-find your jesus, find your Kubrick. You will never fall apart Diana-your still in our hearts, never let you fall apart together we'll dance in the dark'

All lives gone too soon.
