i read it the same - I honestly thought - 'did you get turned down or what?'

He was poisonously unnecessary - and made an absolute arese of himself.

It was truly a drunken with friends piece of hyperbole. I could hardly believe it.

Not thought a lot of the bloke in a long time, his attitude stinks. Many moons ago, took the plunge and took the kids to butlins, he was performing.

Afterwards, he and his 'minder' were rude to all the kids going to ask for autographs, some kids being pushed, physically. There was a queue, kids were allowed to line up, which they were doing, but could only buy something, autographs from someone they recognised were not on.

Lots of kids in tears, lots of angry parents and I overheard many promises of complaints.

He really did seem to have a chip on his shoulder tonight and looked less than 'well'.

I agreed with that part, i hate it when someone's constantly saying how they are going to quit when they have no intention of doing so. Its just attention seeking. We obviously don't know if whats reported actually happened or not though.

Saying that he did seem particularly venomous tonight, the look on his face for most of the show was not pleasant

I notice he was a lot more supportive when Susan Boyle almost quit.

I thought Stephen made a lot of sense. Of course Danyl's supporters are not going to agree or see his point of view but he spoke for a lot of the public and there is no point in Danyl's supporters burying their heads in the sand.

Jamie is among my favourites but I have to agree with what Stephen said about those who threaten to leave when they should realise that they have taken the place of someone who would dream of being there.

It's refreshing to see someone on the show not toeing the party line and expressing their opinions so passionately.

I was wondering where he came from, never heard of him before, but thought he was showed a lot of bitterness and jealousy towards Danyl. he was really trying to lay into him

That little bit of 'honesty' quite possibly has cost him his job.

I didn't watch it(was too busy watching David Haye become heavyweight champion of the world ) but I wouldn't pay attention to anything he says - he's a prize pratt who is very lucky to have a cushy gig like Britain's Got More Talent.

I don't think Joss Stone has seen any shoes for years.

I'm chuffed to bit - I've got to see it - that Russian bloke was totally ginormously, comic-book, amazingly, big and scary looking.

I thought he was a bit noisy, and trying to grab attention on the panel of people. But he was right in what he said.

I used to think Stephen was good when he first started out on CITV especially with the magic, but over the years he has become increasingly more cocky and arrogant.
And he was like it a lot on BGT this year but last night's Xtra Factor really showed him up for what he's really like.

He came across as a really nasty and spiteful person who doesn't like anyone with a talent that is better than his.
I think Holly might have been a bit surprised at his actions too.

Yep the smiley, cheeky chappie persona definitely slipped last night. It was really ugly and spiteful.

Yeah, that's right because he's really aiming to make a career in singing

Good on him for speaking as he finds. He spoke for a lot of viewers who are sick and tired of the Danyl love-in that is Xtra Factor.

As for Holly, the sooner she goes the better. The tweeness of This Morning and DOI is more her style than anywhere where she may have to handle celebrities or other people not toeing the party line. She doesn't have a clue how to. She didn't know what to do with the first caller last night (I got the impression that what the guy actually asked was not what he had recorded as his question, or not in so many words at least) and didn't know what to do when the Sugababes, after saying they thought Danyl had done well then went on to praise a handful of other contestants equally.

What's the point of having an opinion if you're not going to express it with passion and belief in it?

I hate this current increasing trend for expressing an opinion being described as bullying.

He looked perfectly sober in every way.
