Jill is my all-time favourite SCD winner to date. Great that she was in the pro dance last night

Jill was spectacular -lets not forget wee Darren who gave her all those fantastic routines -the cough Jive, Samba, Paso, etc all brill!
Also, her Christmas American Smooth was excellent! They have such a chemistry - I love watching them! She actually held her own against Lilia and Aliona -shows how graet she is!

I think Jill was really good last night, looks like playing Roxie in Chicago really helped to improve her lines

It was a fab surprise last night! Her time on Chicago has made her a better dancer than ever - she looked like a pro!
![]() Alesha is still my all time favourite, but Jill is close behind.

Jill was really good last night.
Had she done much dancing before strictly? I'm just asking because apart from the final I didn't watch this series. |

I thought she was brilliant and looked absolutely fantastic. They were halfway through the routine before I realised who it was.

(I honestly don't wanna turn this into an argument)
The fact Rachel won 26shows and came runner up on 14 shows (when there were only 40) just shows, she was a better dancer. People obviously realised Tom Smuggo Chambers looked a lot better on TV. Rachel was better at Ballroom, I agree. Her Rumba was sensational, and her Cha Cha Cha was quite good ![]() Whereas Smuggo couldn't do Latin either, his Paso face. LOL? His Salsa/Samba/Jive/Cha Cha Cha weren't that good either. He had some good Ballroom dances, I admit. |

Your claim that you don't want an argument might carry more weight if you hadn't then called Tom Smuggo twice.

Jill looked great on the show last night, I didn't see any of the series that she won and didn't get what all the fuss was about - then I saw her in a live show in February
![]() ^^ I am not an OAP, didn't go on a coach and my teenage daughter came with me ![]() I have also seen her in Calendar girls, she was great in that too - multi talented she can act and play the piano too

Jill was amazing last night, her routines looked so undermarked compare to every series since, outside the final only her paso got a 10 (from Arlene). Every latin dance she did is one of the best ever for each dance (did that make sense).
I'd love to see her and Ramps dance together. |

Jill has a lovely personality and it really comes through when she dances.
Also I like that she's not super slim like a typical dancer. She's an average sized women (and she's had a baby!) and moves beautifully. She's really a natural dancer. (I wonder if any of the pro dancers are mothers). |

I agree, in comparison to the scores now, all Jill's Latin dances deserved about 65 points.

I watched her Paso the other day and it does seem very under-marked when you compare the scores it got to the scores some dances get now on Strictly. I thought the same for her Cha Cha too.
Compared to the marking now she was severely undermarked. It was just the way of things then. She got 35 for her jive!! 35 ![]() ![]() You practically get a 30 for turning up now

Great to see Jill last night was a lovely surprise. By far the best female to win SCD (and I was a big Alesha fan!). She looked like a professional, perfect lines, natural rhythm, she completely held her own with the other professionals.
