  • The X Factor
The most unpredictable X-Factor to date.

We have had various favourites to win, no one is consistent or good enough to win this at the moment.

Maybe something to do with the low standard this year.

Of the 8 left I only think Jamie and Lloyd have truely no chance of winning.

Tipped Stacey at the start but think Lucie is the one that may come through now and win.

In my opinion, those in the running are now:

Stacey, Lucie, Joe, Olly and Danyl (although as a Danyl fan, I admit to a small bias there )

I love Jamie but I don't think he can win.

Having said all that, it really could be any of them couldnt it?

You are right OP. Very unpredictable.

Their is only one clear leader - JEDWARD

the rest are all support acts !

The is a series where even the favourite could get the least votes and be eliminated.

Why do you think his bloke on a pissed night out in a karokee pub act, with free dad dancing will win the day?

Sadly, that's probably true.

I think (and hope) Joe's in with a chance though.

Joe is definitely in with a chance. He is the most consistent with the vocals and is a lovely lad to boot.

He's not my winner, but I think anyone who writes him off is a little presumptive.

It is definitely the most unpredictable X Factor so far. Anybody could easily be eliminated tonight, including Olly. I thought we'd have several weeks before Lloyd dropped into the bottom two and was very surprised to see him there last week.

I really dont have a clue what to expect with the results this year. It does make it more exciting but only if Danyl gets to the final Im hoping for a Lloyd/Jedward bottom 2 tonight but it prob wont happen and Jamie/Stacey/Lucie could be in trouble. Or Danyl if people haven't voted for him tonight. But ive voted over 20 times so hope all his other fans have done the same. But its too unpredictable this year.

Think it's starting to shape up now - Olly is clearly the fave with the public after the reaction to his performance tonight and will be no doubt be safe tonight and i would expect him to do something more modern next week, if he pulls that off then he is the one to beat. I think now their are 3 standout Olly, Joe and J&E (only because for some reason they seem incredibly popular and will more than likely go far in the comp!!) Don't think Danyl can win, not because he can't sing but because of the hate campaign against him, Lucie not strong enough vocally and boring, Stacey to predictable every week now, Jamie don't think he appeals to a big enough audience, and Lloyd shouldn't be in the comp anyways their were much better singers than him at the judges house yet cheryl put him through relying on his looks.

I think Olly needs to be given a more modern song if Cowell is capable of that and not a Robbie track also he needs to concentrate on his vocal and not the dancing otherwise he won't get the other judges back on his side so he has a challenge, Danyl on the other hand has won the judges over- even Cheryl.

Joe and Lucie are the most consistant vocalists there and maybe the only ones Cowell realistically see's being huge stars judging by his comments last night.

Stacey is in with a chance but she did take a fall last night and has to pick herself up like Danyl did she also has to win Simon back over.

The other 3 have no hope, The Twins will probably go out in the next 2 or 3 weeks, Lloyd is out of his depth and Jamie is great but maybe too different for x-factor

Agree with this. Whereas last year it was difficult to know who would win because there were four or five strong contenders, this year I think the majority kinda just..don't care..who wins. Strongest year ever my arse
I think its all very karaoke this year.

I will fall off my chair if Olly is ever even in the bottom two.

I wasn't surprised to see Lloyd there. Little girls may send him fanmail but it is a myth that they make up a dominant number of the voters. This is a Saturday evening light entertainment show after all. It attracts a large part of the Saturday night audience that is far from being little girls. If either of the two young boys was going to attract any of that support it would be Joe because he can actually sing. He's also far better looking than small featured Lloyd (it's like comparing mini-Shayne Ward to maxi-Peter Beale) but that is irrelevent.

I don't think he has at all, particularly Cheryl.

They have seen what the sympathy vote can do (it did it last week) and the last thing they want is to add to that. I get the impression they are waiting to pounce or probably know something on which Danyl will fall on his own sword. I even get that impression with Simon.

I think Cheryl visibly feels strongly against Danyl in the same way Sharon did with Steve and I think this is what it is building to. Simon knows that that piece of telly is still spoken about five years later.
