Its been confirmed that Camilla is definiately going into the jungle - I am really surprised by this to be honest it doesn’t seem like the kind of thing you would expect her to do and surely she is not that desparate for publicity? ”

Look at what the progs done for the likes of mylene Klass?
Camilla has obviously decided she wants a media career and this could be a great springboard for her

I wonder if she was offered it before or after agreeing to IAC.

I hope she gets enough food in the jungle there isnt much of her to start off with without loosing more weight.

Why is Jordan on it again? Isn't that where she met Peter? Bringing back old contestants is never a good idea (Nicki in Big Brother, Paul Danan in Love Island).

I thank the Gods that I dont need to eat kangaroos bits and creatures eyeballs in my job. Makes me appreciate the mundane !!!

If I weren't a vegetarian, I'd eat anything put in front of me for the sort of money they'll be getting for a couple of weeks' work!

I have alway liked Camilla and have missed her from this year's SCD. Really hope she is on I'm a Celeb - someone I actually know and like. So rare.

Hmmm...The figure I saw for appearing on the show was 65K A better rate than the Strictly pro dancers unless I'm much mistaken and for that sort of money I'd eat my own nuts tbh

As for being 'desperate for publicity', all I can say is she hasn't been short of work since she left Strictly and it'll be a good while yet before she's working at Burger King on the minimum wage

PS: Am looking forward to the show

£65000 for a couple of weeks' work is good money imo.

I am afraid I have to agree. I feel that anyone who goes on it must be absolutely desperate to extend their fame.

I know I shouldn't have risen to the bait (so to speak ) but

It's just starting to sink in that not only will I have the pleasure of seeing Camilla on TV again in 'I'm a celeb' but I'll have her appearances on GMTV to look forward to as well AND she'll be very well paid for both of them

...and if that wasn't bounty enough, there's also the added bonus of the whole thing being accompanied by the sound of the odd set of gnashing teeth

Aww - Stu's a happy little bunny!

I say good on yer, Camiila. She's 35 - her dancing career can't go on for too much longer. As the GMTV fitness-guru-to-be she'll get oodles of coverage on GMTV while she's on I'm a Celeb which will only enhance her bookability for other gigs - whatever they might be.

Hopefullly she'll make lots of money which - apart from anything else - will be a reward for her years of dedication as a dancer. And, I would add, a dancer who helped relaunch ballroom dancing back into the nation's consciousness and the reason that we're all here waffling away to one another.

I wish her all the very best.

I have to say I never really paid attention Camilla , until that show dance with Tom ,and wow she grabbed my attention then and I thought it was spectacular

If Camilla can go in and eat creatures nether regions and crawling ugly bugs and dance with crocodiles , then fair play to her ,. I couldnt .

Her fiancee Kevin has confirmed on her twitter that she will be in the jungle. Good Luck to Camilla

It's official. She's on the show. From the I'm A Celeb site:

From dance-offs to eat-offs!

We'll be hard pressed to distinguish her from the other stick insect creepy crawlies in the jungle

Nah, my eyesight's fine. I'm afraid, I'm just not as enamoured of her as you appear to be.

To me, she looks an emaciated bag of skin and bone, rather unattractive, to my eyes.

Good for you Sports Fan Obviously we see through different eyes so further discussion on physical appearance would be pretty pointless, eh?

As a dancer on strictly I paid virtually no attention to her, found her a bit boring and bland, that opinion hasn't changed, her willingness to do the I'm a celeb shows she must be desperate. Doesn't she have a wedding to pay for later this year???

Also her posed so called pap shots in today's papers parading around in a bikini haven't changed that opinion. Can't believe she is now going to be GMTV's fitness expert because she doesn't look that healthy herself - she looks painfully thin and scrawny and not healthy at all.
