Craig is the judge that I find myself agreeing with most often...with Arlene next when she was a judge.
Len makes some valuable points but his marking is far too narrow. Bruno's harmless and a better marker than Len but OTT in a vaguely annoying way with his comments. Alesha does an adequate job despite some eccentric marking...but adds little to the show except make the judging panel more physically attractive...which isn't something I value. She doesn't ruin the show and her lack of credibility, whilst not ideal, isn't a major problem for this kind of Saturday evening froth...but her appointment hasn't improved Strictly in any significant way. |

Maybe we could have a vote for this, just for fun, to see numbers. Can somebody alert mods?

Craig for me too, his is the only opinion and score which has any value. Hes impartial mostly constructive and while yes occassionally a bit nasty hes always truthful.
I'm also a big fan of Brunos flamboyant character (i think the judging panel would be dull without him) Len is my least favourite. Considering hes the only supposed expert hes very inconsistent in his judging and his scoring. Alesha is fine (and a vast improvement on Arlene) and has settled in well although i think theres a lot of room for improvement. |

Definitely Craig, though he can be a tad too unforgiving in his choice of words sometimes.
I like Len for his knowledge, but found his hectoring of Craig rather irksome the other week. Bruno irritates. Alesha, I was getting to like, thought she had a few decent comments to make and then this week, I thought how rude. |

Craig is my favourite.
I think I would like Len a lot better if he would just stop arguing with other judges. They are entitled to their their opinion. Bruno shouts and screams too much. Alesha, the worst. However I welcomed her comments to Craig Kelly this week. |

Craig is my favourite judge. I know he can be quite scathing but he does make a point of trying to finish his comments with something positive.
Len, Bruno and Alesha about equal. Not overly fussed about any of them. While I don't mind that Arlene was replaced (though I still don't understand why she was the only judge to be replaced) I do miss her constructive advice. She's the one judge who would say "go to a ballet class and work on such-and-such" and I find that's lacking this year. I know the other judges make comments about posture and arms and whatever but I don't feel that they're really giving specific advice on what needs to be worked on and how to improve it, the way Arlene did, and there are definitely contestants who could benefit from that. |

Craig! He's the only judge that brings any meaning to the "10" score paddle. The others just flash them about willy-nilly! He's not afraid to mark a bad dance badly and he speaks his mind ( a quality I very much admire in people!) Off the show he comes across as a really lovely person and I'd very happily go for a drink with him - I think he'd be a hoot!
As for the others. I really like Len but think he's a terrible judge and is far too inconsistent. Alesha is growing on me (grammar aside) and I like that she whips the "4" out once in a while! Glad to see the back of Arlene. Love Bruno - he makes me howl and think his marks are more realistic this year! |

I don't have a favourite judge as it depends on the mood each one is in each week!
I think Craig is the more consistent judge because he uses the same judging scale for each couple throughout the series. The problem is the other judges score what they see on the night, not on what they have seen from that couple in previous weeks. I'd like them all to score Craig's way and then the overall scores would be more relevant series by series. |

Craig for sure, he's the only judge whose opinion I want to listen to. As for the rest, Len is too up himself and annoys me when he won't let Craig speak, Bruno is OK sometimes and I did quite like Alesha but I thought she let herself down on Saturday.
Craig RH Rocks!

I really prefer the panel as a whole and as individuals to last year's, and agree with the poster who said that Craig does seem like he would be a great laugh - would love to spend an afternoon drinking and shopping with him (for my dress for Buddy's next party ![]() ).

Craig RW has always been my fave. I always agree with him and a 10 from him is truly special.
I used to love Bruno but Ive gone right off him this year as he is all mean and has lost his exuberance. Such a shame. I used to like how positive Len was but he is so patronising and his marking is just waaaay too inconsistent. Alesha? Pfft. Im sorely disappointed in her. I loved her in her series and wanted her to win. I was estatic she her big break although I felt it shouldnt have been at the expense of Arlene. But now? I think she is a complete waste of a judges spot. She adds nothing extra to the judging panel but poor grammar, ridiculous earrings and inability to comment on anything but the dancer's hands/arms. And after what she said on saturday? Thats it, she's had it as far as Im concerned. Craig RW may have the reputation for being harsh, but he always tries to comment on the positives if they are there and gives constructive critiscm. She went too far for me. |

Another vote for Craig here
![]() The others could leave tomorrow and I wouldn't bat an eyelid. Bruno has annoyed me for years, Len has annoyed the hell out of me this year and Alesha...well it just isn't working imo... |

Craig - I think he's honest and fair. And if he gives a 10 then its worth it!
Big gap and then Len - tries to be 'fair' but a bit inconsistent IMO Bigger gap and thena tie between Bruno (Mr Grumpy this series) and Alesha - I can't decide which of these two annoy me the most

Craig is the best judge.
Bruno should have been sacked, not Arlene. Alesha - For crying out loud women, sort your grammer out!

Arlene was actually my favourite, but seeing as how that's no longer a viable option I vote Craig. Bruno's always been too hit or miss *ahem* 10 for an illegal lift *ahem* and Len's just been an old misery. Although given that he's had to sit beside Bruno for so long it's not surprising.
![]() I bet they're all lovely away from the cameras! But Craig, for all his pointed critiques, probably speaks the most sense. I'm not even considering Alesha. I'd have preferred Karen Hardy seeing as how they insisted on getting rid of the one judge whose scores were the most accurate. |

None of them really.
I think Craig is funny and likeable, but that his technical knowledge is vastly overrated. Len definitely knows his stuff, and is worth listening to, but his scoring can be weird (especially for rumba men). Bruno is better this series than the previous one, in that he does make more specific technical comments now. I think Arlene's being replaced was a wake up call. I originally thought Alesha was doing ok, but I've not been happy with the comments she's made in the last few weeks. |

Craig! If HE gives someone a 10 I know they definitely deserve it. He's also alot nicer than usual this year to the contestants
(apart from the Jo kangaroo comment!)
