Then how do you explain Lisa Snowden getting 3 10's from him?

Len's my favourite, he knows what he's talking about and I can't stand the other three (well I like Alesha's music but she's awful as a judge).

I really prefer the panel as a whole and as individuals to last year's, and agree with the poster who said that Craig does seem like he would be a great laugh - would love to spend an afternoon drinking and shopping with him (for my dress for Buddy's next party).”

Craig would make sure you were the belle of the ball!

Well, I was talking about this year

But you're absolutely right, Lisa was overmarked by him a few times. Maybe he had a crush on her!

All of them make gaffes but Craig for me, he often says comments that my partner and I make to each other.

It's Craig by a mile.

You may not always agree with him, but he's fair. He scores accordingly. He's not as biased as Bruno or Alesha who obviously have favourites and he's not as 'on the fence' as Len.

Len gives more 7s than anyone. He also gives dancers false hope by being too generous with the marks.

I had to laugh at this sorry - but its woman and grammar but hey ho, I'm just being picky

Although I respect Len for his knowledge of ballroom and latin he does have "funny turns when his judgement is clouded. I will never forgive him for voting against Matthew and Martina in the first dance off because they were definitely the best dancers. Perhaps he did that because he couldn't bear the thought that pen-pointy, teacher's pet Alesha Dixon might have been put in an awkward position later on when two good dancers would be put in the dance off and Matthew and Martina were there.

Alesha, the worst. However I welcomed her comments to Craig Kelly this week.”

He annoys me when he pulls faces at other judges comments and scores

Agree, and I'm pretty sure this is a relatively new trait he has acquired this series? All that pointing at Craig the other week
love dropping into this thread and checking and being constantly (pleasantly) amazed at the near-total votes for craig

I would ditch the whole panel and start again, keeping it to three judges. Karen Hardy and another professional judge with Craig RH for the performance side. Len & Bruno have DWTS so people can see them there. I have no real beef with Alesha, just don't think she adds anything to the panel.

3 judges does away with the head judge tie and gives more time for constructive criticism, there would be a stern talking to about random acts of nastiness and if you say you didn't like the hands then a comment should be added which hopefully would help them rectify this.

If Len would bring out his 1 and 2 paddles more often it would be him.

But since he's too generous, Craig is my man.

Without a shadow of a doubt Craig all the way I like seeing him on ITT too.

I like Len as well but I think he is too nice when he does his scoring and Bruno hmmm he's ok

As much as I like Alesha, I do find myself holding my breath a bit when she gives her comments because I don't feel she has the authority/experience to make them. I feel relieved when she makes the "I could see how much you were enjoying that" type of comments rather than the technical ones.

I'd like them all to score Craig's way and then the overall scores would be more relevant series by series.”

This makes the most sense!

I like all the judges for different reasons, which is why there is a cross section there in the first place

I can't - sorry!!! I had forgotten all about Lisa
(I also said that when he gives a 10 then it must be a 10!!)

I think I must have just warmed to him this series!

Well it used to be Arlene, because I felt her criticism was most valuable and I respected her opinion (and her keen eye for a hot dude ).

Now, I know this is controversial, but its probably Bruno.

*Runs away and ducks for cover*

Lol.

Yes he is funny and sometimes irritating but I think underneath it all he does make valuable critiques. Only thing is he feels the need for a practical demonstration of what he says, eg instead of just saying "You need to extend your leg", he'll get up and take out one of the audience members with his own leg. And its those kind of things which take away from the value of his criticism. But I still think he has a fairly balanced view of things overall.

Plus, I have a soft spot for him because he reminds me of my dad whose pronunciation goes a little bit skee wiff and over-exaggerated when he gets excited and who feels the need to dance around manically whenever he has an argument or if his team is losing at football. My dad's not a dancer by the way, just a bit strange ...

I'm warming to Craig this series to. I actually found him inconsistent in previous series, because he rarely gives out 10's, Alesha's the best example of this he gave her jive, foxtrot, salsa, waltz, cha-cha, tango, samba, viennese waltz, paso, quickstep and AT all 9's but there's no way these dances were all of the same standard.

Bruno, funnily enough. I tend to find myself agreeing mostly with his comments (and enjoying the manner in which he delivers them!) and his scores.

I don't mind Craig and welcome his harsher way of scoring as it helps differentiate between couples. But I wish he'd find some new words to describe the dances - "Fab-u-lous" and "A-ma-zing" and "Disaaaaster" are getting a bit tiresome. And I wish he'd stop saying "Darling."

As for Len, I much prefer him on DWTS. His verdicts/marks are so much more realistic on there. He's too generous to our celebs and gives them false hope. And why is he obsessed with dishing out 8's to male celebrities who perform the Rumba (however badly)?

Alesha - no comment.

Craig definitely. He knows what he's talking about and is the only one to use the full range of marks.
