Was natalies comment about "Ali quaking in her ballet shoes" a dig about last weeks dance off?

I know she was dissapointed her friend went but it makes me think he all encompasing fun personality is all an act ?

Exactly what I thought ... and making that remark after Ali was forced to do the dance off in her ballet pumps cos of a bad foot .. little miss nice slipped up.

She said it on ITT when she and Vincent were being interviewed and also in training clips. As she explained to Claudia, she wanted Zoe to win Strictly, but since Zoe was knocked out her competitive side has emerged and she is now taking the competition seriously.

I took it as innocent, light-hearted banter...and on the basis of this show I feel Natalie deserves the benefit of any doubt.

Just a hammy joke: "my training's going so incredibly well I'm going to get 40 points, an OBE, 6 trillion fan letters AND make Ali quake in her ballet shoes".

She was making a joke, I'm sure it wasn't a dig at Ali !

Honestly !! OF COURSE IT WAS A JOKE. It was simply a reference to that fact that their training was stepping up a gear due to it being half-way through the show.

English isn't my native language so I may be wrong here. But Natalie's comments were clearly tongue in cheek to me. Otherwise why would she think she would get an OBE?

I don't think it came across at all nasty - more banter in the spirit of healthy competition. Ali's said a few things about gunning for Ricky Whittle, Laila's talked about knocking Zoe out - this was just more of the same.

Plus Ali's had ballet training which shows in the way she dances, so I don't think it was necessarily a dig at last week's paso effort.

Definitely a joke... don't think Natalie is capable of being nasty like that.
