Who'll give it this year?

Alex's Listen last year was incredible, and made her the favourite.
Rhydian's Somewhere was awesome, and we all know he was the real winner of series 4.
Most all of Leona's performances were great.

I think it may be Lucie this year, she reminds me of Alex a bit. Not really fancied early on, but picks up good comments and may well knock us all out with a performance.

Diana beats all the above!

I think Lucie did a great performance of Sweet Child Of Mine. Best performance so far out of everyone...

I also think the "surprise" performance will be from Lucie later on in the series or possibly Stacey if she survives this week.

Lucie doesn't have a strong enough voice for me to think she has the potential to give a defining moment.

I think it will be either Olly or Joe.

Olly and Joe are the same every week... Getting bored with them now.
I think they're very over rated and have peaked far too soon but we shall see!

They're both consistent - and that's the major factor.

Alex, Leona and Rhydian were all consistent and then they all had WOW moments somewhere in the competition that made them a sure-fire for victory (although for Leona it was the other way around and her WOW moment was the first really good performance she gave in the live shows).

I don't think this year will have another Listen moment, but Joe and Olly seem the most likely to be able to do it.

Are you serious?!?!?! Lucie and Alexandra?!?! Its like comparing a cake to a piece of toliet roll.... Alexandra is far far far far better than Lucie.... people like Lucie because among the contenders, Lucie is the one who represents typical british teenager.... sweet in the outside, wild in the inside

I think the only person capable of pulling something out of the bag that will truly surprise is Lucie. I see moments where I think she's going to do it, and she doesn't.

Not sure she WILL mind you, but just she's the only one that I think could.

i totally doubt it... she could possibly surprise us by copying stacey's personality and perhaps sleeping with simon to get in the final..

seriously, defining performances either from joe or danyl

The Twins - 'oops I did it again'

Same Difference - 'wake me up before you go go'
