I thought the dress that Leila is going to be wearing looked like an upside-down pine cone.

I HATE those corset dresses with a passion, they looks so tacky, like the ladies are dancing in their underwear. They also totally ruined (for me) Jade's VW dress, with that awful black corset top, complete with suspenders. Those designs were naff in the 80s when they were first worn by Madonna and her ilk (without the skirt attached admittedly) and they're no better now.

I think the worst one though was the corset topped dress they put Lynda in, that one looked awful, like armour, she looked like Britannia gone slightly wrong.

This week she has the worst design. Not only is it old fashioned, but with the panel of heavy material in the front of the dress, and splits on the sides, creates the feeling of dancing with an obstacle in front of you. If you have been practicing all week without that restriction. It could throw you off during the performance. Or at least take you mind off what you are doing.BIG disadvantage.”

I've always wondered how they cope with wearing a "formal" dress for the show when they have been practising in leggings all week.
I do see some of the girls training in a full skirt for thingslike the paso, so that they can do the cape stuff, but it must be unsettling.

I thought that last year, a lot of Lisa's dresses looked very heavy in the skirt and several were a tad too long.
She seemed to be fighting her way out of it, trying to get the kicks in her tango past the skirt

I don't like the corset type dresses either. They look very tacky and not 'dancey' at all. I would have preferred Jades tango dress to be all one colour. I'm not keen on the corset and two different colours as well
