SE T610 FM Radio/handsfree
Hi all
Anyone any experience of using the SE FM radio/handsfree gizmo? Thinking of getting one for my T610 and was wondering about sound quality/battery consumption etc. Cheers in advance for any comments P9 |

I have one - its very good quality sound and reception, goes to a decent volume and doesnt eat the battery (although obviously it goes down quicker when using the radio). You can also use "magic word" to voice dial with no buttons but again this uses the battery faster.

I found it while playing around on the Sony Ericsson site.
Go to the T610 and click accesories..... You'll find it in with the handsfree stuff. |

I've got one of these - think I paid about £30 for it in The Link (don't normally buy from Dixons group, but there you go...)
It's fine as portable radios go - it depends where you're using it. On the North Kent train line up to London, the tunnels seem to affect it more than other radios I've used, but it doesn't use up too much battery power, and has good sound quality where there's an ok reception. One thing that does annoy me though, is that when you plug it into the phone, the radio turns on automatically. This is great if you want to use the radio bit, but often I plug it in whilst driving (well, pulled over at the side of the road with the engine off, obviously), and having to turn the radio off is something I could do without. Still, that's just my personal gripe, it's not a big issue, in the grand scheme of things. Good luck! |

If you fancy a cheap MP3 player as an alternative for your T610 then this is a fantastic bargain... here!
I got one before christmas, and it was so good, I got another 2 for my freinds with a T610 and a Z600 for prezzies. They were impressed too. One thing though, mine had to go back due to the MMC card being faulty, but dont let that put you off. The replacement came within a few days so not unhappy. All in all a great bargain and worth it for just over £20. Oh, and it dosn't play WMA and there is a patch to download for XP for the card reader.
