Does Tess Know the Scores Before the Couples?

We know the judges key their scores in straight after the dance is finished. I've noticed on more than one occasion over the years some of the comments she makes to the couples while they're waiting for the scores suggests (to me at least) that she at must know something (remember Mark and Karen 'elusive ten' comment for example?).

I noticed on Saturday once again how quickly she came up with the stats for the Vienese Waltz and I expect she probably wears an earpiece and so is fed the info but does she actually get told the score?

I don't think so. There wouldn't really be any point. As far as we're aware the only people who know the scores before they come up on the screen are the judges and production gallery.

I think Tess finds out at the same time as we do and just gets a message in her ear piece saying something like "the scores are in".

Yes, I can't believe that there is anything untoward going on here. Though Natalie and Vincent - "We're hoping for 31!; It's 31" looked a tad contrived!

The band are informed of who the bottom two are so they can get the music out ready to play. Apparently it takes a bit of effort and subterfuge so the couples don't get a peek when they're making their way to their spots!
