Best chemistry I think at this moment in time would be chris & ola, they really seem to spark and genuinely have respect and affection for one another. The couple I'm really not 'getting' is Ricky & erin for some reason
But my main reason for the thread is my indecision over other couples, namely ricky & natalie, phil & katya, anton & laila, ian & jade... I just cant make my mind up, sometimes i think these are great together, sometimes i think they seem to have issues! any thoughts?

Chris and Ola have found the right balance of fun and respect and I love them .Yeah Baby

Flavia , bless her looked like she would prefare to be out clearing out blocked drains than dancing with Craig

Either Chris and Ola or Ali and Brian have the best chemistry!

Agree that Flavia and Craig probably had the worst.

Laila and Anton have the worst for me - they are so not going to be friends forever

Chris and Ola the best - Phil and Katya the worst (in my opinion).

Chris/Ola and Ali/Brian have the best chemistry - for me Phil/Katya don't have much chemistry and nor do Laila/Anton

Chris and Ola chops have a fun relationship and Ali and Brian have a romantic one. Things don't seem right between Laila & Anton and Natalie & Vincent are better off than on the dance floor.

Chris and Ola have the best chemistry.

Chris and Ola have the best chemistry without a doubt. He always looks like he is completely in love with her!

I don't see that at all, I just think they get on really well and enjoy each other's company.

However, Brian looks like he is in love with Ali (and that seems to be reciprocated), 2 completely different kinds of relationships, but both have plenty of chemistry.

Chris and Ola have the best chemistry.

Natalie and Vincent the worst ( when Natalie was talking about Blackpool and possibly going out she talked a lot about standing next to Bruce. No mention of vincent at all!)

Ali and Brian and Chris and Ola have the best chemistry.

I think Phil and Katya and Laila and Anton have the worst (i like all of them but they've been mismatched in terms of personality)

I agree re: phil & katya i have been rooting for them but they dont seem to have much in the way of a connection. anton & laila I also agree. what about the ricky's & their respective partners? I think both pairings are pretty low on chem.

I think Vincent and Natalie, and Ola and Chris have the best chemistry, so comfortable with each other. I think Phil and Katya have a very strained relationship with each other.

Jade and Ian do have an explosive relationship - sometimes goes from one extreme to the other, but never a dull moment.

I think Natalie and Vincent are like best friends having fun in the playground. Vincent always makes his partners feel special.

Similarly with Chris and Ola - they like each other and have fun.

Ali and Brian - I see no passion there just a rather wet 'love story.' When he carried her off after that paso I'm afraid I laughed out loud.

Laila and Anton - I think they've built bridges after Anton's disastrous faux pas but I detect no chemistry there.

Ricky W and Natalie - I don't think so. I think they respect each other's ability but this doesn't seem to translate into chemistry.

Ricky G and Erin - I see no chemistry there at all.

Phil and Katya - no. She just doesn't get him.

Vincent and Natalie and Chris and Ola have fantastic chemistry.

I think Chris and Ola and also Zoe and James as well had really strong relationships.

I think that Craig and Flavia probably had the worst relationship purely because he was so pants she knew she had no chance of winning.

I like Ali and Brian and they do seem to have a 'proper' couple relationship which does seem to show on the dancefloor as well.

Slightly contrary, but I think in the last week or two Phil and Katya's partnership has come on leaps and bounds. They do appear to have reached a nice plateau now - he works harder, she appears more relaxed.

Like Phil and Katya, I suspect Jade and Ian have had to make a lot of compromises in their working relationship but neither one is less that 100% dedicated and that mutual understanding has made for some sizzling performances.

Best chemistry on the dancefloor - Jade and Ian
Best chemistry off the dancefloor - Chris and Ola

Worse chemistry off the dancefloor - Ricky and Erin
Worse chemistry on the dancefloor - Ali and Brian (really strange as they are "finishing each other's sentences close" off-stage).

They would be my picks as well. The Little Hobbit and Ola Chops just seem to have a whale of a time, plus there's a mutual respect and a real friendship forming.

Natalie and Vincent, sorry, just don't buy it at all, maybe I'm projecting here, but I get the feeling Vincent deep down finds her extremely annoying - after their dance on Saturday I thought it was noticable Vincent spent a lot of the time when she was talking to Bruce standing to one side with a noticable gap between them - by now partnerships that are going well are usually clinging onto each other - watch Ramps and Karen - started out Ramps standing respectfully to the side with arms behind his back, by the end they were joined at the hip.

Best

Chris and Ola are the complete package chemistry wise........fab both on and off the floor. Jade and Ian are also a great couple.

Worst

Phil & Katya seem fine on ITT but not on the dance floor or in the tesspit.
Ricky & Natalie they seem to have great chemistry between themselves but dont seem to project it to the audience. Its like they are in their own bubble, particularly the little looks and giggles they give each other in the tesspit....they are not inclusive and I feel like a gooseberry.

Before choosing Ali and Brian as my "worse" on the dancefloor, I had typed Ricky W and Natalie as I agree with you in general. However, when they danced the QS they performed as equals and did convey the joy of the dance to the audience. For that one dance, I removed them from the worse offenders list

I'm getting more and more what Darren Bennett means when he says the partnership is key. Not many pro/celeb partnerships are equal - Jade and Ian, Vincent and Natalie are the only two who dance together and at a complimentary level each week (my non-trained opinion ofcourse).

Natalie and Ricky have major chemistry.....really feel that there is something between them

Ali looks scared of Brian - not a great match - he is over the top and she is quiet and reserved.....
