In total ageement, their like a Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton of strictly.

Of the others, I'm most confused by Ali and Brian. Sometimes I think they are connecting well and at other times I don't see it at all. Their paso, for example, while technically good, had less chemistry than a brick in a bucket of water. I wonder if this is because there is an off-show connection which is hampering their on-show chemistry at times. I'd imagine that Ali isn't the sort of person who would feel comfortable exhibiting "real" feelings in front of an audience however well she may be able to "act" them.
I equate Ali & Brian with actors who are married in real life, but may not necessarily have chemistry on screen when acting together.
I think Ali foot was so painfull during that Paso that passion and chemistry were the last thing on her mind. I am only imagining that Brian was also very concerned that she do no damage that all their efforts went into staying upright ,
I also think that they are hiding a real passion and putting big effort into Not showing it and its hindering them a little .

You maybe right, but chemistry is not necessarily a romantic connection, and as much as I am a hugh fan of them,I don't feel that connection.
Slightly contrary, but I think in the last week or two Phil and Katya's partnership has come on leaps and bounds. They do appear to have reached a nice plateau now - he works harder, she appears more relaxed.

borne out by last night's ITT . The two of them really seemed relaxed around each other, both with Claudia but also on their backstage clips

Best chemistry - Chris and Ola - wonderful pairing. They really spark of each other and are a delight to watch. Most entertaining couple on and off the dance floor.

Worst chemistry - difficult one - probably Laila and Anton but reserve the right to change my mind.

I think Chris & Ola definitely have the best working relationship and chemistry, they clearly just get on so well, put that together with them looking so good together and you get a brilliant all round package.

I think the worst chemistry overall this year was Rav & Aliona but of the remaining couples I reckon either Phil & Katya or Laila & Anton, but given that you need to have fairly decent chemistry to get this far I'd say it's fairly close.

Best - Ali and Brian...the sexual chemistry there...which is like watching Brief Encounter...its so polite and hidden...is about to explode...if it hasn't already.

Worst - Ricky and Erin

Agree with other posters you can spot who is getting on well as to the position the couples sit on ITT, closer the better they are getting on, also spot if the male has his arms around the back of the chair towards his partner.....................not that I've studied this of course
Think i got the definitive answer to the"worst" element of this thread on last nights ITT ... could have driven a bus thru the gaps between ricky & erin and anton & lilia on claudias sofa

Ah, but did you not see Laila rest her head gently on Anton's shoulder just before they danced on Saturday (about 45 mins in on iPlayer)?

Oh I do hope Brian's flatmate doesn't turn up in this re-make!

And did she not do the same at the very very end of their ITT interview? Or is my memory merging the two?

It was the same clip at the start of the ITT interview (just checked LOL!) and I thought they were very good together in that interview - at the end Claudia told them to stop giggling when she was speaking to the camera about tonight's show! In fact, they seem like a right old pair 'moaning' about their scores and I can imagine them being like that in training!

I'm not sure how I'd describe Laila & Anton's relationship.

It's certainly not devoid of chemistry - but it's an unusual chemistry.

They've been through more than any couple and I think that's brought them very close. It's certainly the partnership that intrigues me most.

I agree. Mind you after seeing Natalie and Vincent on ITT tonight they are hot on the heels of Team Cola - Jade and Ian too!

I know what you mean Buddy!

I've loved all of Vincent's partnerships - he's just so good to his girls - he always manages to strike up a warm and loving relationship with them.

I'll need lots of consoling the week he and Nat get knocked out!

Considering I'm not really supporting any of the front runners, I'll be happy for any of my favourite couples makes the final

Going back to the original question. I am supporting team Cola because he, like Natalie, seems to be enjoying himself. Quite like Jade and Ian but not so sure about the others.

I'm always drawn to the couples that have gelled and have fun (whilst also taking the experience seriously).

Jade & Ian are almost there but I detect a slight tension between them sometimes. I'd be more than happy for them to win, but I doubt I'd be compelled to vote for them. I did prefer Ian with Zoe, Denise and Jodie though.

I think this week might be interesting because the likes of Ricky G or Phil are due to go but we could have another upset. Hopefully Jade and Ian will be OK but I would sacrifice them for Chris and Ola.

Ruthless! But I agree

Team Cola, Nat & Vinny and Laila & Anton are my priorities.

I suspect we might see an upset this weekend too, because Ricky G and Phil are more at home with Ballroom so could score highly.

I think it's Natalie and Laila who are vulnerable.

I just replayed it on iplayer for the 3rd time and still ended up wiping my eyes

"Cream crackerded", "We're Blethed" and best of all ,
" I decided yesterday that I'm gonna win and then I remembered she (Natalie) is here too so I'm gonna make her win"

That's the line that made me really laugh out loud too.

It reminds me of something similar he said to Little Louisa - "I'm going to win this with or without you!"
