I amwatching again and Yes I fully agree Alesha was way out of line .
BUT seeing it again I just wanted to say that the whole show is in danger of being spoiled by the attention Ms Dixon is getting

For me it was all about
The fun of Jade and Ian and Ian out of breath while Jade wasnt !
Laila and Antons lovely Paso and her dress was fab

Natalie and Vincent " This could be the best dance ever ....................... " and you could be 6 foot 4" !!!

Chris and Ola chops simply enjoying it all and the fun is infectious
Ali and Brians magical dance , drew me in and I loved it .

Flavia running of stage when voted off , she couldnt wait , I nearly heard her whoop and kick her legs .!

Rod Steward still has it , ( he could have ditched the missus )
The group dance , crap as usual but great fun to watch .
The audiance were super ,the floor was fab and I had a Marvellous Time .Did you ?

Good call.

I can't remember the last time I enjoyed Strictly so much.

Blackpool was a success and Alesha's behaviour - whilst it tainted the evening a little - shouldn't overshadow an otherwise magical show.

No...can't stand Blackpool. Horrible, grubby place. Full of drunks and rip-off artists.
But the show was fun.

Yes, have to be careful about selecting hotels and B&Bs. Some have late night discos. I heard about one visitor walking back to his hotel past a drunk with blood pouring down his face , no doubt looking for a fight. I always walked on the seafront promenade, away from the seafront line of bars and discos.

Can locals tell, if there is a store in Blackpool that would sell cashmere pullovers?

I really enjoyed Saturday's show and agree with all the posters who said Alesha was the fly in the ointment but she didn't ruin the show for me, I was amazed by her rudeness, shouted "you bitch" at the television set and then enjoyed Rod Stewart's performance. Ali's Vienesse Waltz was wonderful - she is so graceful and I really enjoyed Ola and Chris - especially her delight when his marks were announced. I loved Jade and Ian's Jive, laughed through Natalie Cassidy's quickstep, and couldn't quite believe the sheer awfulness of Ricky Groves' salsa - it is all part of my Saturday night. Although Blackpool is a bit of a dump (was there two weeks ago) - the lights were fantastic and so was the Tower Ballroom. Friends of mine saw Darren and Lilia filming and were so excited about it. I love Strictly and It Takes Two.

I totally agree with Abbasolutely 40. Blackpool was 'fabulous darling' and they should definitely do the show from there more often.

I have lovely memories of dancing with my Grandma at the Tower Ballroom when I was a little girl and then again with my son about 10 years ago when he was little It's breathtaking and beautifully decorated. The programme really whetted my appetite to go back.

The examples of the fun things that happened brought a smile to my face too Thank you Abbasolutely 40 for getting everything back into perspective for me!
