Credit to wotsat who broke the news earlier on their blog and promted me to talk to Sagem this afternoon to confirm some det.ails.

Their machine should be out next week. I've put something on PVRJunction and no doubt will be putting up pictures and commenting on details if I can get a box

I shall be keeping an eye on these forums to see what people say about it and I may sell the Humax HDR and get one.

A shame because I am generally happy with the HDR but I want a PVR that records programs following restoration of power (following a power cut) - not much too ask - but too much for Humax it seems

there seems to be no diseqc facility which means non-freesat viewing will be very limited and no chance to timer record any non-freesat channels

Richard, I understand your frustration but you've made that point many times before. Chillax (as my kids say) and get a cheap UPS

If my experience of Sagem PVRs, their bugs and terrible customer service is anything to go by, I would avoid at all costs!!

Or just get a decent PVR in the first place
